The Studio Draper

Beautiful on the inside with a full kitchen, but photos don't acurately show the views from the windows. It's a very old cemetery. If you book this venue, you may want to use a lot of drapes. The inside of the venue had a very strong, very odd smell. Everything has an additional cost. Outside catering is an additional $295. If you get the wedding plus package for more time and use of decor, it's a $200 charge, and arches are not included. That's an additional rental fee of ~$80 per arch. Their decor closet is very small and there is not much to choose from. Alcohol fees are $300. There is a $100 fee if you don't pay with cash/check, and an additional $200 fee to hire their crew for ceremony-reception transition + setup/takedown. Anytime you dont use one of their preferred vendors, just assume there might be a $200-300 fee for that service. Realistically, you're looking at ~ $4425 (+ tax) in costs for: venue on a weekend, minimal decor, an arch, setup crew, and approved bar tender, payment fee, and minimal outside vendor fees. So add that to all your other wedding costs. I also do not believe it is wheelchair accessible, but I could be wrong. Other reviews also indicate that it is not. It is an old historic building, so the windows are very old and dirty, so areas inside are updated, others are not.

Review The venue itself was charming and spacious (speaker sounds echoed). The service we were provided was initially good several months prior to our wedding date, however, once we signed the contract and payed the deposits, the service fell off from there. We felt rushed and pushed to make quick decisions during the planning meeting 2 weeks prior to our date. We were hit with several additonal costs that were not explained in our first visit. If you are looking to book with this venue, be ready to get nickel and dimed in the last minute; what you pay initially will not be the final amount you pay. We are saddened that such a lovely venue had such sub-par service.

I’m so glad we booked The Studio Draper for our wedding ceremony and reception! They were so kind and organized. With all the stress of wedding planning and coordinating with different vendors, The Studio Draper was the only thing I never stressed about. They’re awesome!

Beautiful location for a beautiful day! Held ring ceremony, wedding lunch, and reception here. The kitchen is well appointed and lots of cold space in large freezer and refrigerator. The owners/managers went above and beyond to help everything run smoothly. We lost our vehicle keys as we were cleaning up and Andy even jumped into the garbage dumpster with me to help me find them! 🤯 Thank you for a great day full of wonderful memories!

I really enjoyed this experience! I had the opportunity to DJ a wedding here and although there isn’t a ramp or elevator, the historic experience is like none other. They have a built in PA system which is so helpful for announcements and such. If you plan to hire an artist, understand the ceiling’s are taller so it’s best they bring a mixer to have full control of the room when performing. The exit is beautiful! And great for photos and videos. I highly recommend this venue! The owner and staff were amazing and friendly. Great working with. Also very helpful and ensuring everything was covered and on schedule. Their books are filling up fast, so be sure to contact them!

I loved shooting here this past October! The venue gets the most beautiful lighting during the day. The windows are so big and make the whole space feel so great. I also love how open and wide everything is. There's a lot of potential for whatever you want your day to be. I met the owners for a few seconds and they were so kind to me! As a photographer who's shot over 100 weddings, I would definitely recommend this venue for yours.

This venue was seriously the reason for the wedding of my dreams. Great management and space for any event, and it was absolutely stunning inside and out. It's also a great price for everything you get!!! I wish I could give this 10 stars.

The place it’s awesome the acoustic it’s fenomenal the only thing doesn’t have elevator o ramp this place is on third floor be prepared with help for carry all your DJ or audio staff

We had our wedding here and it was amazing!! Not only is the venue beautiful but the staff is so helpful! They were so easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions I had! Thank you guys for making my day amazing!

My visit recently was for a birthday party, and previously a wedding. Great venue for 200 or less guests. Gets a little warm for dancing, but then again if you're not moving the temperature should be just right! Room for a band, dancing, food and bar setup. Nice intimate venue in Draper.
