Chris and Mike provided me with a great stove recommendation along with details of how it would look in a false chimney breast that his installers could create. Dan and Simon worked hard to build and install everything. They were polite and so helpful explaining fully every step. They were very clean and tidy and left my home how they found it. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We recently had this company in to do some work for us. We wanted them to open up a fireplace for us and move our existing log burner back into the original fireplace. The team arrived on time and did an amazing job. They found the original opening and restored it then they realised it was wider than they expected so they had to send for a new decorative beam, which is fantastic. They then relined the chimney and re plastered the wall we are so pleased with the result it was an excellent job and very efficient, in less than a day we had a new fireplace and a much bigger room. They even spent time reconditioning and repainting the stove so it looked like it was new Excellent and efficient service would not hesitate to recommend this company

The Stove and Fireplace studio in Ilkley are simply amazing. I am not sure what more I can say. From coming out to survey our home in Sheffield and quote for the install of a multi-fuel stove to installing a great looking 5kW stove; everything was done with the upmost professionalism. The workmanship is just brilliant, the guys (Andy and Tom) who came to do the install worked like troopers, in fact, they worked so hard, they had completely done in 5 hours. Before leaving they gave a quick demonstration of how the stove worked and which vent settings should be used for wood vs smokeless solid fuel. They even brought a selection of lintels for us to chose from. Great value for money, great workmanship, incredibly professional and they even called a week later to check everything was ok. The invoice was clear and there were no hidden extras. I could not recommend them highly enough.

Love our new Contura stove and really pleased with the installation. Andy and Tom were very efficient and knowledgeable . Working flat out to ensure the work was completed in and around our other workmen. As well as ensuring the stove and flue were fitted to regulation, they also took time to explain the lighting and maintenance. They were considerate with regards to parking and thoughtful to ensure our dog was kept safe.

Michael Berry We recently had Ilkley Stoves install a Gazco fire.All the staff were extremely professional from quoting to installing our fire.The fitters were amazingly efficient from removing our old log burner to installing our new inset convector fire.The workmanship was of very high standard and we would definitely recommend them .

Clearview Stove installed a week after ordering. From showroom through to survey and installation, the Stove Studio's entire team were professional, knowledgeable, respectful and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

We got a Dovre 500 from here 20 odd years ago. Did stalwart service, refurbished a couple of times, finally needed replacing. Went and visited, great staff, knowledgable etc. Found a Stovax Stockton 5 Wide which was almost identical size and form. Thrashed a deal out and arranged an install date. The lads arrived to remove the old one, just as they started I got a call from the boss fella to say the transport company had let them down and the new stove would be delayed a day. At least the communications were honest, prompt and factual. Re arranged, lads back - more tea - new stove in within a couple of hours. Very neat, tidy, cleaned up, removed waste and went through the differences. Lit later on, perfect. Find out local retailers, deal with family businesses and you will consistently get better sales and service.

Extremely satisfied with the service that we recently received from The Stove & Fireplace Studio in Ilkley. We wanted a statement fireplace for our apartment in Ilkley, and Chris was only too willing to take us through the various options. Chris has great product knowledge and insights, and was able to suggest product which aligned with our requirements. He also had considerable patience as it took us a lengthy period of time to reach a decision, and we never felt under any pressure at any moment. Chris visited our property twice before we committed to buy, and made a great suggestion regarding how we could best accommodate our preferred fireplace within the constraints of our property - this needed a bit of lateral thinking! We did check out the competition before making a decision, and none gave us the confidence that Chris did nor were they as customer focused. Having evaluated other suppliers in neighbouring areas, we can also confirm that The Stove & Fireplace Studio are competitive when it comes to pricing plus they accepted our favourite method of payment which isn't always the case and was a nice added bonus! Our installation was not straightforward but Tom and Andy made it appear that way. They arrived on schedule and completed the task in a timely manner including providing training regarding how to operate our new electric fireplace. The installation team were efficient, personable, and clean / tidy. They brought their own sheets which stretched from the entrance door right through the hall and to the lounge where we wanted the fireplace fitting. There was no trace of mess after they had left, and Chris visited whilst the installation was taking place in order to ensure everything was going to plan. We have visited Chris at the showroom post installation, and we get the sense that we will receive great after sale care in the unlikely event that any is needed in the future.
