Excellent seafood, very fresh. Favorites are grilled octopus, tuna tare tare and crudo. Unfortunately, they were out of mussels. The place is quite chill. Not many tables. Staffs are friendly. Cocktails are a bit slow.

“The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were exceptionally attentive, and the atmosphere was wonderful. There’s also a great selection of drinks, including wines. I’ll definitely be coming back.”

Tucked deep into Sukhumvit Soi 26 lies a charming and understated restaurant with just six parking spots out front. The entrance is discreet—marked by a large, solid wooden door that feels almost secretive as you step inside. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance. Upbeat, fun music plays throughout the space, setting a lively tone without ever becoming too loud or intrusive. Inside, the restaurant is about the size of a typical mid-range Japanese eatery, offering a cozy yet comfortable dining area with enough space for several couples and a small bar for solo or casual diners. The menu is impressively diverse, offering a wide range of Japanese and Western fusion dishes. Appetizer: Fish & Chips The fish and chips appetizer was a pleasant surprise. Served with three dipping sauces—ketchup, tartar, and a yellowish house-made sauce—it arrived fresh and piping hot. The fries were crisp with a perfect texture and seasoning. The fish, while breaded in an unconventional shape, was flavorful and cooked just right—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. A generous portion too—it could easily pass as a small meal. Sushi Highlights The chutoro nigiri came topped with truffle, offering a fresh, well-balanced bite. The rice was properly seasoned, complementing the fish well. The wagyu nigiri was a showstopper: a massive cut of tender wagyu beef draped over the rice and spilling onto the plate. It was topped with truffle and gold leaf, adding both visual flair and rich flavor. The beef was buttery soft and easy to eat, an indulgent treat done right. Mains: Steak & Lobster Roll The steak took a bit longer to arrive than expected, but the wait was worth it. It was beautifully plated and flavorful—easily a 9 out of 10. It came with onion chips, sea salt, and chopped wasabi on the side, which added texture and depth to each bite. The lobster roll was another standout. Packed with generous chunks of fresh lobster meat, it was served with fries and a small salad. The bun was just right—not too big, not too small, much like what you’d find in a quality lobster roll back in the U.S. While other places may offer cheaper lobster rolls, they tend to skimp on the meat and overload the bread. Not here. Service & Ambiance The staff were attentive and professional, offering small luxury touches like wet rolled towels for hand cleaning. The overall vibe felt upscale without being pretentious. ⸻ Final Ratings: • Service: 8 • Food Quality: 9 • Atmosphere: 8 • Value: 8 ($$ – reasonably priced for the quality) • Overall: 8/10 A slightly higher price point than your average spot, but well worth it for the quality of food and experience. This is a place I’d gladly return to.

Decent seafood place. Lobster roll are really fresh and delicious. Fresh ingredients were used for the salad. Fresh imported oysters was just alright. 👍🏻 The food was fresh, tasty, and beautifully plated. The service was excellent – quick and friendly. I had an amazing dinner at The Raw Bar with my girlfriend and our dog. The restaurant has a vibe, and they were super accommodating for us and our furry friend. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and every dish was packed with flavor. The oysters were definitely our favorites, paired perfectly with a crisp glass of wine. What stood out the most was the friendly service and the pet-friendly atmosphere. It made the whole evening so special for our little family. If you’re looking for fresh seafood and a place where even your pet feels at home, The Raw Bar is the perfect spot!

Great selection of Oysters! If you are looking for fresh and a good selection, this is the place for you!!! I enjoyed the fresh seafood but not impressed by the other dishes, the seasonings weren’t as flavourful as I generally prefer. Overall, would come back just for the oysters!!

A definite gem for oyster lovers. Here, you’ll discover a variety of fresh oysters which are flown in fresh from around the globe, including personal favorites like Gillardeau and Fine de Claire—fresh, creamy, and perfectly briny. Apart from the oysters, there are plenty of seafood dishes to explore. We really enjoyed their Atlantic Crudo, featuring Salmon, Hotate, and Tuna—light, refreshing, and utterly delectable. And let’s not forget their Lobster Roll: buttery, bouncy, and served in a perfectly toasted bun. It’s no surprise they’ve been a staple for seafood enthusiasts for so long. Parking is available in front of the restaurant.

Very nice place for having a dinner or dating. They offer very good quality seafood, especially oyster. They also offer wide range or wine and champagne. A little bit pricy but if you can afford, it is worth.
