Judging by some other reviews I could be in for a long wait 🙄trouble is, I've no idea. Pointless having an e-mail order inquiry if you're not going to bother responding to it !!?? I wouldn't mind so much, but when everything is showing in stock and you're paying top rate postage, you'd expect things to arrive within a few days at least ! My partner took the day off for us to work on our model, well we couldn't now could we ! nor the weekend ! Really pisses me off when a simple e-mail in common courtesy would do, there really is no excuse for it. People do have other things going on in their lives other than sitting about waiting while lining your pockets ! 🙄 The other worthy note which paints a predictable character reference is he only replies to 5* reviews. Maybe he'll break the mould with this one 🙄and if you are reading this prior to my goods being sent out if further delayed it may very well be better refunded as I can spend elsewhere.

I really like this place, this was the first store that I purchased my first train set. The staff are so friendly and helpful, it’s got loads of stock and it’s a great place for model train enthusiasts

First class model shop, very helpful and friendly staff, I think all model shops should be as well equipped as this one, it was my first visit, but will definitely visit again when next in the area. If it was only nearer to Devon.

Very reasonable prices but found out why. Could not contact them over delivery even though I left emails.items took over two weeks to arrive with no tracking number given. It just said Royal Mail tracking where the number should have been on the invoice.paints were delivered loose in a battered box. In future I would pay the few extra pounds from a company I at least could contact if there was an issue. Tried to phone constantly but it just rang out. I never leave bad reviews but this deserves it to warn others.

I enjoyed my visit to the shop today. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The shelves are well stocked, although a bit up in the air after lockdown. Highly recommended

This little shop is run by a lovely elderly couple who were really helpful in taking their time to find what I wanted and price it all up for me. You can pay by card, but your itemised receipt is hand written and they're still using carbon paper for their copy. Unfortunately the Jinty they "have in stock" was lost, which I hope isn't because they didn't seem to lock the cabinet. There are a lot of bad reviews about their online system. I spoke to the owner who pointed out this was run by "a chap with big ideas who doesn't come into the shop". I think therein lies the issue, and I'd suggest only dealing with the shop by physically visiting them. Wide range of scenery, track and trains. I highly recommend it, if only to meet the owners.

Great little shop, carries loads of stock not all of which is on the website (most notably peco streamline). Friendly, helpful and patient - My son loves it, and always wants a go at controlling their little layout - flat out!
