What has been happening with the Airbnb market since Covid-19 hit in March 2020? By June we saw almost 100% occupancy across all our properties. This was a phenomenal and unexpected result given that we were all expecting the worst. Nearly all of our guests have been travelling from Brisbane and some from Harvey Bay/Bundaberg areas. The Sunshine Coast Hinterland in particular has been extremely popular, and even until now is still almost fully booked through till the end of August. We are hoping to see the continuing trend of Queenslanders exploring the diverse areas within their own state as well as welcoming back our interstate guests as the borders re-open. It has been wonderful for our owners to see such positive returns as well as amazing feedback and reviews in these trying times and for our guests to still be able to enjoy a 5 star break away within their own state. We remain positive and look forward to seeing more wonderful guests as we move through the second half of what has so far been a stunning Winter (as usual) on The Sunshine Coast!
