The clinical program is a 300 hour course that combines clinical classes with moderated clinical hours
This class is available online and locally in person. Online students must be present for the Monday evening sessions.
February 8 - September 6, 2021
This course intends to include the following topics. (some classes change, depending on the available teachers)
Reading bloodwork
Intro to Phytochemisty
Nutrient Deficiencies
Creating an Intake form
Performing an Intake
Follow ups and helping your clients to be successful
Common herb-drug interactions
Legalities of Medicine production for the public
Herbalism as a Profession
Research practices
Reading and Assessing Herbal Research
Writing/publishing about herbs
Creating a Business Plan
Ethics
This class will be held Monday evenings 6-9pm PST with additional clinical hours which are scheduled individually by the student.
To join this class, you must pass an entrance questionnaire and interview demonstrating that you have the proper levels of herbal knowledge (300 hours of previous study or the equivalent) to participate.
