About
The Northern California School of Botanical Studies aims to provide an excellent quality herbal education at the various levels students may require. The school combines the traditions and foundations of healing through Ayurvedic principles while using western herbs and those local to ones area. Classes are now available in person and online. We currently offer 3 certification courses: Grassroots Herbalism, Community Herbalism, and Clinical Herbalism. Single Day Community Workshops: Workshops are offered locally and online. Study herbal medicine as you can and according to your specific interests. Local plant walks are a popular favorite, and medicine making is always fun.

I met Amy 4 years ago and started taking classes at Northern California School of Botanical Studies and it has changed my life. From the beginner to the professional, she teaches it all, whether you would like the knowledge for yourself or to spread the knowledge helping others Amy is the one, and an amazing Ayurvedic Practitioner and teacher I highly recommend this beautiful Being!

Amy is an amazing teacher! I took her year two and enjoyed the intimate class size and her approach to herbal and aryuvedic medicine. I learned so much from her - not only for how to support others, but also how to support myself. Am looking forward to year three with her 😊
