Great place to stay at the northern most tip of Iceland near the Artic Circle. Operated by husband and wife, very friendly and helpful. Clean room, nice hot shower, full kitchen and living room for family and friends to relax. Very high probability of Aurora sighting

Our rest in the nest What do you do when you're travelling by bike in Iceland and the forecast for the next day is really heavy rain? You look for somewhere to stay and take a rest day. We didn't expect to find such a nice refuge in Raufarhöfn. OK, the building isn't particularly inviting from the outside, but as soon as you set foot inside, you're in a home far from home. Thanks to the owners of this surprisingly beautiful place, you'll find everything your heart desires: a cosy bed, a well-equipped kitchen - but above all friendliness, helpfulness and hospitality. Thank you, we wish you every success with your projects and dreams.

Great stay last night. Hassle-free late self check in. Friendly service during check out. Spotless clean room, bathroom (shared), and common areas. Well-equipped shared kitchen. Perfect location to visit Arctic Henge (saw the Northern Lights there, and from the room's big window). Personally, found the price a bit high, considering amenities are shared and breakfast wasn't included, but really have no complaints.

Clean! Friendly! Well equipped! I arrived very early in the year and nothing else in town was open (supermarket, restaurant, etc). They called the other hotel for me & they happened to have some burgers, so I was able to eat dinner that night. Would recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

Great place! For some reason our reservation didn’t go through when we booked at booking.com. We got there pretty late and the receptionist quickly set us up to stay. She was a life saver. The pace is very clean and the kitchen is awesome! Loved staying! The only thing is that Google maps was confusing this place and sending us to the hotel instead.

A nice good value guesthouse in a remote city with a very friendly receptionist. Large sitting room and well equipped kitchen. Beware! Take your key with you if you go out in the evening, else you'll be locked out!

Fairly new establishment with shared kitchen, bathrooms, and living area. A short walk to the arctic hence for sunset. Rooms are clean and the sheets are comfy.
