The week continued with more varied work across Belfast and surrounding areas!
Job 7 was a failed Yale 3-star cylinder - the key was just turning with nothing happening. I got the lock out without destruction, replaced it, and now the door opens, closes, and locks perfectly.
Job 8 was another lockout - customer lost their keys and couldn't get into their apartment. Replaced the lock with 3 new keys and another happy customer sorted.
Job 9 was a fresh euro mortice install on a customer's bedroom door. She didn't want other people in the house entering her room while she was out. Installed it perfectly - everything locking and opening as it should.
Job 10 involved a customer who'd lost their room keys. I gained entry, changed the night latch by disassembling and removing the old lock, then installed a new one with 3 keys. Very happy customer!
Job 11 was particularly important - a customer's house had been broken into and they wanted thumbturns removed from their side alley and front door as they were easy targets. I realigned the door and changed all 3 locks within an hour. The customer now feels safe in their home again.
