Post 1:
Another incredibly busy week for the Lock Ninja! We've been all over Belfast and beyond, handling everything from emergency lockouts to security upgrades.
Jobs 1, 2, and 6 all involved failed door mechanisms - handles wouldn't move and doors were sticking. Each time I diagnosed the problem, swapped out the faulty mechanisms with brand new ones, and got everything working perfectly again.
Job 6 took me out to Ballywalter on the Ards Peninsula where the salty air and moisture had caused yet another mechanism failure - a common problem in coastal areas.
Job 3 was a standard lockout where I used my specialist tools to pick the lock with absolutely no damage to the door or lock.
Job 4 had a customer who'd lost their keys and didn't know if anyone had taken them - I changed the lock within 15 minutes and secured their property.
Job 5 started as a snapped key in the door. I got it opened, removed the cylinder without any damage, and replaced it with a new one. As I was leaving, the customer asked me to check their front door - lucky they did! The lock had a failed cam and they couldn't remove their key.
Changed that lock too and everything's back to normal.
