This was a very good experience. Loved their menu design and food choices. I got the Backyard BBQ Burger/w Salad and Bacon Ranch Cheese Fries. The fries, ranch and cheese sauce were magnificent. Not greasy or too salty but just right. Unfortunately the burger I ordered was too rich for my taste buds, but it still was outstanding and I would recommend to anybody who likes the ULTIMATE stuff burger taste. All in all I enjoyed it and will definitely be going back.

I came here for the soft opening on 4/25 & this place is amazing! Definitely has an aesthetic look inside and a great place to study/chill/eat when you're in Berkeley. I've never really tried vegan food but we got the buffalo cauliflower bites and fish & chips, and they were both REALLY delicious (we also tried it with the jalapeno dipping sauce which adds a kick). There's a variety of comfort food selection to choose from, so you have multiple options too! All the staff here are so nice & make sure you like everything, so I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. Will definitely be coming back!! :)

Wide variety of meal choices and lots of desserts! Everything is vegan, too. The Reuben was really good, with a nicely spicy sauce, melted cheese, and lots of seitan. Next time, I'll request extra sauerkraut as there was a very small amount.

First time here. Great food, great service. Very nice and understanding when we asked for some extra sour cream and other things. I had the enchiladas, and it was just what I was hoping for. Delicious, hit the spot. I really like how in addition to being all vegan, the food doesn't seem loaded with onions and garlic like a lot of places. Tastes very delicious and wholesome, not heavy. She had the jackfruit burrito which I tasted and it was also really good. Only thing I can suggest for improvement is the bathroom could use some work: toilet seat is the wrong size, toilet seemed clogged - wouldn't flush, and was out of paper towels. Regardless, I will definitely be going back and highly recommend this place to others.

Phenomenal place to get your vegan fix. The food are extremely delicious, and healthy too! My favorite dishes are the Garlic and Butter Chick'n Burrito and the Nachos Supreme. A safe and great place to eat. I may have just found my favorite vegan restaurant. Excellent customer service too!

Great spot to get some creative vegan food. I ordered a burrito and it was GINORMOUS! #fiestaRice TIP: The nachos are totally worth it.

I tend to over order here and somehow the bill is still reasonable!!! The food is amazing and high quality ingredients are used! All the comfort foods are truly comforting, and the garlicky fries get eaten on the way home! The Vietnamese coffee is oh so delish and I usually order five desserts to go - they are super gourmet tasting. So happy with the ordering process and the girls up front are fabulous!!!

Came by here on their 3rd day being opened, and overall had a great experience! I got the carnitas (jackfruit) supreme nachos and the Buffalo cauliflower with the krackin’ sauce and that was amazing.... everything was AMAZING. My favorite thing was the nachos, so much flavor, and I had a dairy-free Thai tea that I loved! The manager was very nice & humble. I couldn’t think of anything that could be better..... except if they we’re here sooner that would’ve been cool aha

Happy Hooligans is wonderful. They're very clearly the best successor to Saturn Cafe that Berkeley has seen so far. The food is delicious and I'm looking forward to eating in here in the future. I'm worried for you guys being this far off of Shattuck. Some better signage would be helpful! I almost missed it and I knew where I was going. Also: milkshakes. (I know the San Jose outpost doesn't have them, but darn I miss those Saturn milk shakes!) Update: quality here has really suffered and I don't know why. It's been a huge disappointment every time I've eaten here since shortly after their opening

Quick & satisfying comfort food - even for an omnivore such as myself. The "bacon" on my buffalo "chicken" wasn't bad but texture was way off - too soft, more like ham. Overall though the sandwich was great.
