My family and I have attended an annual Friendsgiving weekend for years and we love the Gateway Lodge! The rooms and service are second to none. The staff provides a warm and “feels like home” experience while serving delicious food and with even better hospitality. We hope to have many more years and fun and celebration at the Gateway. Thanks to Lou and his great team!!

We had an amazing stay at the Gateway at Pine Hill and we would highly recommend it to everyone. Justin and Jessica were so sweet and friendly, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. They had hot chocolate hour from 4 to 6 each night and also offered wine. Our room was a little small but it was very cozy and we enjoyed hanging out downstairs by the fire!

We had a fantastic time at The Gateway at Pine Hill in the Catskills! Jackie and Frank, the hosts, were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Their breakfasts were hands down the best food we had on our trip, and we had some great chats with them. The place itself is really nice, and we had a blast playing games and hanging out by the fire with a glass of wine. Honestly, we wouldn't change a thing about our stay. Highly recommend it! Thanks, Jackie and Frank, for a wonderful getaway!

I booked my stay here for a wedding I was the officiant for. It was 5 minutes away so it was very convenient for me. The moment I walked through the door I was blown away by the level of hospitality I was shown. The owners are incredibly kind and considerate. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was out of this world. I was even amazed at how good the water tasted. I have to come back one day, when I'm not so busy, just so I can enjoy more of the location.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at The Gateway for a late season ski trip this year. Everything about it exceeded our expectations. Our room was well appointed and comfortable, with enough room for the three of us to spread out. The common area around the fireplace was a great place to relax over a board game and a drink. The Gateway couldn't be more conveniently located for anyone skiing at Belleayre, and there are a great variety restaurants within a few minutes drive between Margaretville and Phoenicia for lunch and dinner. The breakfasts were an absolute standout though! From French toast with house-baked Challah to easily the best breakfast burrito I've ever had, everything Justin makes is delightful.

I can not say enough about our experience at The Gateway at Pine Hill. I rarely write reviews but this couple deserves more than 5 stars. They are both so warm & welcoming, their bed & breakfast is everything anyone could ask for. Jackie had me at whole house filter for the well! The beds are so comfy cozy, I love the fireplace in the morning & night. The hot coco hour in the afternoon is such a great touch, but the fact that they had non-dairy options blew us away & literally made our trip extra special! Hospitality is at the forefront of Frank & Jackie's bed & breakfast! Frank is a great chef & the servers in the morning were great as well!! My sons & I have been staying at different places every winter for 5 years now & I can not say enough about The Gateway at Pine Hill. We definitely will not stay anywhere else in the future for skiing in NY!! Frank & Jackie thank you for making our stay memorable, comfortable, relaxing, & absolutely perfect. Where you stay means so much, it makes or breaks a trip! Keep up the great work guys!! See ya next year!!

Jackie and Frank were the best hosts! Our family had such a great time at the Gateway! We highly recommend staying here when visiting the Catskills. The location was great and right across the street from Belleayre! It was the perfect snowboarding getaway. The place itself was so cozy and especially warm with the lit fireplace. The food was also amazing, we were sad to leave and not be able to enjoy their breakfasts everyday. Can’t wait till we can come back and stay longer the next time around.

Had a lovely long weekend at The Gateway at Pine Hill. I received great recommendations for nearby dog friendly hikes, breweries and restaurants. The breakfast every morning was so delicious and the kindness of Jessica and Justin were unmatched. They were so accommodating to myself and my pup Tucker, we had a great time and look forward to returning one day!

I cannot say enough good things about The Gateway. From start to finish, Frank & Jackie made our stay so memorable. My partner and I headed up to The Gateway this past weekend to celebrate our anniversary and were immediately charmed with the residence. Everything felt so homey and comforting and Frank & Jackie were warm and inviting as soon as we arrived. The property itself is beautiful, very clean and comfortable (the bed in the Ulster was so cozy) while still keeping the building's original charm. It's clear Frank & Jackie are amazing, hospitable hosts who care about making sure your experience is special and one of a kind. The breakfast each morning was amazing and the choices were diverse and delicious. Get the breakfast burrito, you won't be sorry (don't take it off the menu, Frank)! They even put a sparkler in our burrito as a little anniversary celebration. There's a lot to do in the area if you like winter sports/activities, but even if you don't, you won't be bored! We explored the neighboring towns, did some shopping, and then came back to a cozy night of playing cards down in the common room with some wine that Frank graciously offered us. Top to bottom, this stay was fantastic and we will absolutely be returning.
