At 50 years old this was my first eye exam and I have to say the service was exceptional. They were able to take my insurance where most other places did not, and the staff was kind and considerate. I ended up leaving with two pairs of glasses that fit my style and over all I felt very satisfied as well as accommodated. It was one of my better experiences, health care wise, in the area and eased my worries of the condition of my eyes. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a professional, easygoing experience.

I had my cataract procedure performed by Dt. McSwain a few years ago and have gone back for periodic check ups. I am always greeted by friendly staff and techs. Dr. McSwain is professional with compassion. I highly recommend him for cataract surgery.

Dr Chung is absolutely wonderful. I was referred to her to remove heavy film on my lens after cataract surgery done 7 yrs ago. She also told me I had alot of scar tissue. 2 weeks today Dr Chung lazered my problem. No pain. Only 5 floaters in 2 days. I haven't seen this well in my left eye ever. Dr Chung is very personable, friendly and very well educated. She explains everything that you dont even have to ask her anything else. Her Staff is awesome and kind. My compliments to all that helped me see normal again. Very highly recommend Dr Chung at The Eye Depot. 100 stars not 5. Thank you all for a great experience and I CAN SEE GREAT ❤️

I wouldn’t go to any other ophthalmologist office in Bradenton. The staff is amazing. I love my doctor, Dr. Chung. Very kind very caring very thorough. You only get one set of eyes do yourself a favor and go to The Eye Depot.

I had cataract surgery to my right eye yesterday with Dr. William McSwain of The Eye Depot. Today I went for my post op checkup and the results have exceeded my expectations far beyond what I could imagine. At first, I was undecided about general anesthesia or sedation just to the eye area. I finally decided with just sedation and my prayer to the Lord was that I would feel no pain, that everything would go smoothly. Well, praising God for having guided me to Dr McSwain and his wonderful staff. Everything went sí well that I didn’t even feel I was in an operating room. No pain, no pressure to my eye not one negative thing, it was an amazing experience. I was awake all the time and it was such a quick procedure, just as they had said it would be. No trauma effect either, it was just a general good feeling that everything was going to be okay. The whole staff at both The Eye Depot and Manatee Surgical Center were really so friendly and empathetic, all the nurses were great and now I can’t wait to get my left eye done as my checkup with Dr McSwain today showed my right eye has improved over 75% without glasses.

Fast check in, back to exam room for tests in a flash. Qualified techs and Nurses did preliminary tests and questions in a friendly and professional manner. Dr McSwain arrived in a timely manner. He and his expertise is well known to me. A video and explanations left me clearly understanding my diagnosis and treatment. Scheduled for surgery and authorizations, consents and lens measurements to follow next week. Scheduled for surgeries in the next few weeks. High praise for this practice’s operations . The process continued at high level throughout the perioperative period. Follow up was thorough, smooth and efficient, never wasted my time nor theirs. I highly recommend Dr Mcswain and The Eye Depot practice!

Dr. Chung is an excellent and thorough ophthalmologist. She was patient and explained treatment plan. Her office staff did a great job. Shout out to Alexis for a job well done as well. Highly recommend this practice.

The office is clean and the staff is super friendly as always! Dr.Stelton is great, he explains everything so well and really helps you understand what is happening with your eyes. Bonus points for having a coffee station in the waiting room ✨

Manatee County is fortunate to have great ophthalmologists. The Eye Depot is the best of the best. It's more than Dr. McSwain but from the minute I arrive, I am in a professional environment 2nd to none.
