Dr. Espinosa was nice, and Dr. Zach Ramilevich was great he took his time and helped find the right treatment. His staff was incredibly unreliable and unresponsive to calls. Staff hangs up calls, or no call backs even when regarding to medications, follow ups, scans or lab orders. About a year ago lab work was supposedly sent to the lab and over a week later nothing was sent, called repeatedly and got a run around with no one being able to answer except saying they’ll leave a message at their new call center. Dr. Zach apologized for the lack of communication from his staff during the transition of their new call center but their staff is unreliable as fair as following up with patient care. It’s been over a month and I am still not able to schedule an appointment again since I am told to leave a message. Overall, the doctors are great. Call center staff is terrible and unorganized. Everyone else is great.

TEN STARS I was in the hospital after a bad cold for 4 weeks and then my legs stopped working. Then my arms stopped working. After 2 weeks I was being discharged with the diagnose of a pinched nerve and I was to be an out patient in a wheelchair. My nurse heard this and she saw Dr. Espinosa ( former head of neurology at the hospital) doing his patient visits and asked him to see me. He came into my room in front of four residents and diagnosed me as having Guillain Barre Syndrome. He told the residents that I was now his patient. (My lucky day!) He ordered infusions (IVIG) and my recovery was on it's way. I am forever grateful for my nurse to seeking help for me. Dr. Espinosa could have declined looking at me during his rounds, I am sure he is a very busy doctor but he came and saved me from further damage to my nerves and gave me hope that I would walk again. Since then he and Dr. Bayas have taken care of me. He was also able to treat my peripheral neuropathy. I did rehab and I walk again, use my arms again, back to normal. I am forever grateful to Dr. Espinosa for his talent, compassion, patience and genuinely caring for me. His office staff is fantastic.

I was a new patient this week as referral and was lucky to get in quickly. Dr.Espinosa is very sharp, smarter than any of the other docs I’ve spoken to in a long time. He has a busy location so just understand that they have a great staff who will help you with everything you need. Testing was fast and thorough with the latest technology.

I would strongly not recommend this office there attention to detail is horrible as they don't call people back who they are treating. My dad has been a patient of there's for about a year getting infusion. Right now he is NY with me were I live as he has been staying with me the last few month's. He was suppose to get his infusion last week hear however we had to delay due to there none attention to there patient's need's as he was suppose to be re-enrolled in the program. I called the office to speak to his Dr. there and it's almost impossible to get things done with them. I Finally spoke to his Dr. last Wed and he stated he would call me back the next day with his assistant to get my dad reenrolled in a trial. Bothe my mother and I have called every day since last week with no call back. When I did speak to the Dr. last week he blamed the office staff fore not getting this done and he stated he wasn't in charge of them. This is poor Patient care and as a retired emergency worker with over 25 years work experience I am very disappointed in them and will also be contacting Florida DOH.

I don't usually write negative reviews but this time I feel its the only way to get an answer from the office. I have been a patient of the Espinosa Neuroscience Ctr. I was lucky enough to get Dr. Bayas as my neurologist. Dr. Bayas is a great doctor. He found conditions that 4 other neurologists didn't find. I receive Btox treatments for several neurologic conditions. I received a call last Friday stating that the Center would no longer treat patients who receive toxins and I had to find a new doctor. I was stunned, apparently letters went out - I never received one. My next treatment is in December. I have been calling non-stop to various neurologists that specialize in movement disorders (there are not many) and the next appointment I can get in for is May! I would like to ask the question how can the firm call up patients and state were not treating you any more? They have not provided/recommended nor offered to help me find another specialist. My multiple conditions do not afford me to just be a walk in to any neurologist. I've called the office now 4 times and have never received a call back. I still work, if a client calls you, the office should have the decency to return their call and help them. After all, we were dealt a blow by this news. I don't understand how doctors who took the oath to help people have just up and decided that they don't want to deal with "toxin" treatments anymore. Yet the office does cosmetic procedures which use toxins? I haven't received a letter, so I'm guessing I'm still a patient and will be treated in December since no one has the courtesy to call back. When I did speak with someone in the office last week, I was told the office had no say in this decision and to write a google review. This is not professional at all. I will continue to try to find a neurologist, but I ask if I can't find one in time, I hope you will still honor the appointment and treat my symptoms. I didn't call your office and not pay my bills or make appointments and not show up. I would ask that you have the same courtesy as I have shown the office.

Updated: after leaving my initial review yesterday, I received a call from the office manager today directly and spoke with her. She listened to my concerns, is looking in to the situation, friendly, caring and genuinely cared about my concerns and how my issues will be addressed and rectified. I will hopefully be able to return to Dr Bayas as he truly is the best neuro I have had. Thank you Mona for reaching out and helping me in this situation. First, Dr Bayas is a fantastic neurologist who spends time, cares, and helped me in so many ways. Unfortunately after many issues and attempts to rectify the issues nothing is resolved and must leave a review. I wish I could continue care with Dr Bayas. The system they use to schedule appointments, billing, medical records, scripts is extremely flawed. I showed up to my appointment which I did schedule with a real person not automated, and they checked me in and after sitting for 30 min they said I never had an appointment for that day (east boca office). I was annoyed but went ahead and made an appointment for the coral springs office the next day. I was given the wrong person script (not my mri), I was told a prescription would be called into my pharmacy, and I was charged incorrectly for my insurance which they said don’t worry we will fix it, its an issue on our end. I tried for a week via phone and email to get the correct script, i called and emailed for 2 weeks to get someone to call in my prescription med and never happened. I had to go to my pcp to get it filled. Called multiple times to get the bill of over $300 adjusted to the correct insured coverage which would be $36 and no response. This is 2 months later and I still review calls, emails, and invoices for the incorrect bill. If you want an amazing neurologist Dr Bayas is that, it’s unfortunate the others issues are there.

Horrible experience with the staff and Dr Espinosa. Staff never call back, tell me the PA is in the office and will call me, to only wait till the end of the day and I call back and another person who answers says “oh there not here today”. Wishing that was the only issue, but how about the Dr himself mis diagnosing me with a life changing motor neuropathy and to start on intravenous treatments, only to be told by 3 other neurologist later, getting second opinion (one to include the director at UM neurology) that they don’t understand how this diagnosis was given. Being told the emg/nerve study performed show mostly normal. When confronting Dr Espinosa about this he replied well I want to continue the treatment and in a few months if I am wrong I can re diagnose.. what’s even better is that he out right refused to consult with another neurologist who requested to speak to him, telling me “I do not discuss my diagnosis with other physicians”… HORRENDOUS experience, changed a portion of my life for the worse.

Dr. Espinoza is a very patient and caring doctor. He treats all his patients with respect and shows special kindness and compassion toward elderly patients. You can truly tell he cares about people and loves what he does. Highly recommended.

I made an appointment with Patricio Espinosa a few months ago. Went in and met with his PA for about an hour. He came in for about 5 minutes. He suggested about 4 tests that I should get. So, I got all but one of the test. When I called to schedule an appointment with him to review my test results, I was told that if I wanted to meet with Dr. Espinosa, I had to pay $2,500. He is now a concierge doctor. They never told me this up front. This is a true bait and switch. It took a while, but I found a more ethical neurologist to read my test results. Beware.

I always have an excellent experience with Kettia Hibbert, ARNP. She is extremely thorough in explaining my condition and treatment options, taking the time to answer all my questions clearly. She is an outstanding neurologist who really takes the time to listen and ensure every concern is addressed, and offers XEOMIN. The staff was friendly, professional, and made each visit smooth and comfortable. I truly appreciate the care and attention to detail provided. Highly recommend!
