I have had actual nightmares of ruining my curls with a haircut so I was nervous to get it cut significantly shorter, but I decided to do it because it would make my life easier. I am so glad that I chose The Egyptian Queen because Susu was absolutely amazing. She made my curls CURL. My hair is absolutely stunning after this cut and I'm so thankful. I will be returning for any hair needs that I have because she knows what she's doing with my thick curly hair.

This is the best haircut I have ever received!! Susu is extremely talented and made my curls pop and shine like they have never been before. So much volume and shape which is exactly what I was looking for. Not only was the cut great- she is also extremely kind and a wonderful person. My mom and I have been faithful customers for about a year and I gotta tell you, one of the best decisions ever made. Susu always takes such great care of my hair. I typically get my hair washed, trimmed, and have had it flat ironed in the past and the results are consistently fantastic. There’s NO breakage, no dryness and strangers are always complimenting my hair! A few months ago, I got highlights, and I’m thrilled to say they are still glowing beautifully! My hair feels incredibly soft and healthy, thanks to Susu’s expertise. She literally has the magic touch! The atmosphere of the salon is welcoming, and Susu”s attention to detail makes every visit special. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled stylist who truly understands hair care. NOTE - never had to check the mirror to see if she’s cutting too much cuz she knows my hair and has it trained. She explains what’s she’s doing while doing it so there are no hidden surprises which I truly appreciate.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I was very skeptical because I don't trust many salons with my hair since I've had many experiences with stylists telling me they have experience then leaving my hair looking like a giant frizzy mess or telling me to follow an impossible to maintain in order to upkeep my hair. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the owner herself who offered beverages and Egyptian treats. asked if there was anything I needed. Susu was so lovely. She was absolutely AMAZING. She was inquisitive because she wanted to make sure we were on the same page so I would have the results I'm looking for and she was so receptive to my wants and dislikes. I showed her a picture of the shape I wanted (I only wanted a cut) and she completely understood. She was just so incredible, her attentiveness, the way she explained every single step in the process and even used science with supporting facts. She also explained and demonstrated how to practically care for my hair and style it on a day to day basis to achieve the look I want and overall hair health. ALSO she informed me about curl types, and so much more. I literally am so excited to go back, worth every single penny. LOVE this place!!! Will be back again soon ❤️❤️❤️

Susu accepted my call before her normal office hours. She fit me in that day. She is an amazing stylist and person. Very friendly and cares about her clients. It was a true blessing getting to meet her .

I have never, EVER cut my hair in a professional salon before because I was always scared someone would ruin my curly hair, and I love my hair so much. Once I walked into Susu's shop, I knew I was home. I felt safe and comfortable with her and trusted her with my hair. She cut my hair so well and gave it a beautiful shape that it almost made it look longer! Susu the owner of the salon is friendly and knowledgeable. She fixed my dry hair on verge of getting knots. She advised proper hair care routine for my type of hair. The before and after of my hair transformation can be seen in the photos! I loved our conversation and the decor of her salon. She also had amazing selection of fragrances in the salon. I will definitely be coming back.

She made sure that both of us were comfortable for her first haircut experience. Susu is very knowledgable and experienced with curly hair.
