When we were unsure of the design and made some changes after our initial meeting, he was kind enough to come back out to our home to discuss and reassure myself and my husband that we were on the same page. Words cannot express how grateful we are to The Deck Guy for the amazing job they did replacing a 25 year old cedar deck with Fiberon Ipe decking with Burnt Umber borders and Trex Transcend railings with Trex lighting kits. I was looking for a contractor to build my deck and did a search on google. I saw the tremendous reviews that "The Deck Guy" had received and thought to myself that this can't be right. I decided to call them for an estimate. PJ was prompt and prepared to answer all my questions. His price was very fair and everything was included. No hidden costs. The price he quoted was the price. Period ! PJ and crew showed up on time and was extremely professional. PJ treated our deck as if it were his own. When they were finished it was like they were never there. You are in great hands with The Deck Guy! PJ was a pleasure to work with and his prices are very competitive (we researched many contractors). He was incredibly responsive on email/phone/text and worked seamlessly with our Town Permit Office to schedule inspections quickly and efficiently. He was happy to answer my (many) questions and provide his expert advice. He built our Trex deck with two of his guys in just a few days with great attention to detail (picture framed everything, even our little storage door underneath).
