We are in love with our new deck! PJ and the team did such an amazing job and worked quickly and efficiently. The end result speaks for itself! PJ was patient, attentive, and professional. When we were unsure of the design and made some changes after our initial meeting, he was kind enough to come back out to our home to discuss and reassure myself and my husband that we were on the same page. Words cannot express how grateful we are to The Deck Guy for the amazing job they did replacing a 25 year old cedar deck with Fiberon Ipe decking with Burnt Umber borders and Trex Transcend railings with Trex lighting kits. The result is stunning and we love it. PJ and his crew were professional, respectful, and listened to all our questions and requests (and there were many of them). Adding one more 5 star review may seem unnecessary to make the point that The Deck Guy is a great outfit but we were so pleased with our new deck that we felt it important to write this. PJ and his team replaced a second floor deck for us in just 6 hours, start to finish. We were initially impressed with PJ's professionalism in explaining the materials, options and prices. The job was performed on the day promised, for a fair price and without accessing the house. The team cleaned up thoroughly and respected our property in every way. Exceeded all of our expectations which were high to begin with.

I hired PJ to build my new pool deck. I chose him not only because he had good google reviews, but because he was knowledgeable, personable, and answered all of my questions. We are 2 working professionals looking towards retirement in the next couple of years. 2 years ago began getting estimates to replace our old wooden decks and outdoor kitchen. Driving one day we saw THE DECK GUY truck and contacted them. PJ is the owner and he thoroughly accessed the existing structures and our requests. The communication was straight forward. After meeting him, we decided on the spot to contract with him. He helped us making choices and referred us to stores with product displays. PJ and his staff arrived early and worked every day dedicated to our project. He works side by side with his staff. Everyday there was visible progress and they always left everything clean and organized at days end. The job started on time and ended on time. He routinely communicated with us and was always reachable. His sense of responsibility, work ethics, meticulousness, professionalism and demeanor are commendable. We love the decks and outdoor kitchen which are impeccable. Just what we wanted. Everything went smooth. It was a great experience - like no other.
