The Courtyard Hertfordshire

My stay here has been nothing short of fabulous. The staff are so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for me during my stay. I made a very last-minute booking but was still warmly welcomed by staff and even got my room upgraded. The place was super clean, tastefully furnished, with luxurious bathrooms and very comfy beds. I also had a meal in their newly opened restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. Despite it's unglamorous location I would recommend this as a hidden gem of a place to anyone needing a night or two's stop over in the area. I'm already trying to figure out when I can return!

Good to see this beautiful building is having a refurbishment, met with the new owners and their vision of this place is exactly what’s needed. Can’t wait to see the end results. Best of luck

Stayed here for a week, amazing rooms, comfy beds, beautiful bathroom with large bathtub and shower. The sauna room was an amazing extra. Friendly and responsive host. Would definitely recommend to anybody wanting a peacful stay. 10/10

A great nights sleep ! Comfortable and everything is brand new . The interior was clean, loved the travel toothbrushes given for free which I forgot to pack! The bed was really nice to sleep on. Breakfast was superb will certainly be back.

Great vintage style venue highly recommended

We arrived. It smelt of damp and the bathroom was freezing cold. So we left after 2hrs and drove home. Room paid for, but unfortunately not able to stay

Rooms have been improved, can't wait for the Malaysian restaurant opening soon, something different.
