The Car Doctor - mobile mechanic

DO NOT USE!! This mechanic could have gotten people seriously hurt or killed through malpractice. I called them out after an ESP light came on and what was a simple job became a nightmare. I was told to order a new steering angle sensor after a diagnostic check, which I did. The mechanic then came out to fit it and after hours of working on my car then told me that the 'check air bag' light was on. He then left my steering wheel completely open and parts placed around my car and told me he would come back in a few days time. The second time he came out was the same story but he suggested I may need a new air bag. I messaged the next day out of frustration to ask if I should order the part as I didn't want him to gain return and keep going through the same situation as he planned. I was told to order it, so I did. He then came out and put my steering wheel back together (did not even use the new air bag) and before leaving told me it was safe to drive with the air bag light still on and that when it comes to an MOT "call me, I come out pass no problem". I had a different company come out today and he told me that not only could my airbag have deployed randomly but it could also have not deployed at all in the event of a crash. The mechanic from this company not only risked my life and that of others around me or passengers but also has now left me without a car as whilst fitting the steering angle sensor it appears he has broken the wiring connection between my airbag and my car's computer. This is backed up by the fact that the check airbag light was not on before he started work on my car. I was learning in my car with an instructor and the mechanic definitely took advantage of the fact that I am a new driver and I have very limited knowledge on cars. I now not only have to buy a new car after spending half the value of the car I already have on trying to fix it with these people but I also have 3 months until my test. Devastated doesn't even cut it.

Phoned early saturday morning by the afternoon a guy was with me... got straight too it, friendly and knowledgeable. Had to call out again next day ( not related to the Saturday) promt and efficient Am now booking all servicing and parts through The Car Doctor 👍👍

Has a horrendous issue with our car. Car doctor mechanic came out informed me what was wrong and what I needed, got the parts and he sorted our car out so well we hardly recognised the engine. It's the best the car has run for a long time. This is one number that has been saved in the very important file on my phone. I highly recommend them.

Amazing service from this place.My car died suddenly on my driveway and after days of several mechanics spending hours and hours(at a cost)going over my car,the problem wasnt found and none of them could fix it.I found this guy and although he isnt particularly local to me he travelled out to me within a few hours of me getting in touch. The mechanic was under the car for about 10 minutes,found the problem straight away and fixed my car there and then on the drive.He was a lovely bloke and absolutely saved the day!Would 100% recommend them.Got the number saved and will be using him again.

I had handbrake shoes I fitted myself that were having slight issues when it came to fitting the disc over them. With a trip to Bristol and my MOT looming I needed things sorted ASAP and So I called and booked in Shakeel to come and help me. He turned up at 20:30 after a long hard day fitting a clutch to a van and then proceeded to give it his absolute all to fix my issue and he did! He stayed until midnight to rectify it, an absolute hero. I was fitted in for an appointment very quickly and the team and Shakeel were very professional and very helpful, incredible service and I couldn’t recommend any higher for anyone needing help with their car!

Wow!!!. Engine stopped whilst I was on a 2hr journey. Called out the RAC. Diagnosed it as a fuel regulator fault. He couldn't fix it so got it towed to my destination. Next day I decided to get a fresh diagnosis from Car Doctor. The RAC diagnosis was incorrect and the CD guy fixed it within 15 minutes. No wonder he's called a Car Doctor.
