Living here feels like being in an animal shelter. If it's not dogs barking nonstop between 5-8 a.m., it's a cat left on a neighbor's balcony crying day and night. And that's not even the worst part. The walls are paper-thin. I can hear my neighbors chatting loudly, playing games, and blasting music as if they're in my own apartment. I've reported the noise multiple times to both the leasing office and even the police, and nothing has been done. They simply do not care. This isn't me being dramatic-I genuinely struggle to get any rest unless I shove earplugs deep into my ears. Peace and quiet do not exist here. The only positive is maintenance responsiveness. Unfortunately, that doesn't make up for the constant issues. Hot water goes out almost every month, and the A/C fan is located in the bathroom and sounds like an old radiator when it runs. There’s a lot more issues that I didn’t even mention ! Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone who values sleep, quiet, or basic comfort.

I currently live at Brook on Bay Area Apartments and have had a great experience! The remodeled layouts are modern, beautiful, and well-maintained. Megan, the leasing agent, was incredibly helpful and funny, and she made the entire leasing process easy and stress-free. She answered all my questions and made everything smooth from start to finish. If you’re looking to move here, go ask for Megan — she’s the best! 😊

The laundry Mat here is always dirty and messy barely anyone from management or maintenance comes by to clean it. It is also not just one laundry room but multiple laundry rooms in these apartments that are just like this one. I have had to call about these machines multiple times for not working. And for $2 a load at a APARTMENT. I should Not be having this many issues just trying to do laundry but people also leave clothes in here for hoursss and I’m pretty sure people who don’t even live here hang out and destroy these rooms even more. I highly suggest keeping these rooms locked and using our keycards to unlock room for actual tenants living here. Getting sick of seeing this mess every time i do laundry. Please do something about it

One thing that’s really been bothering me since I been here is When I toured the property before signing my lease, I was shown a specific apartment by Wendy and was led to believe that was how my unit would look On move-in day, I was given a completely different unit without any notice or explanation. Oh this is also how the air filter looked when I moved in so CHECK YOUR AIR FILTERS you would expect these people to change these things before you move in lol disgusting Then there’s bugs everywhere and a infestation of gnats and maintenance lies and there’s this one “woman” in there Her attitude is consistently rude and dismissive, which makes it unnecessarily difficult to get help or clear communication. Just ewww every time I talk to her. I had time to write this today since the water has been off all day and they failed to send a email!! But honestly I’m not even surprised anymore I’m ready to leave this trash place.

WORST TWO YEARS OF MY LIFE. This apartment complex is truly unlivable. There is mold in the vents that we put 3 different work orders in for and all got ignored. In the whole two years my fiancé and i lived here there was not one full 30 day month where we had steady hot water and pressure. There are BUGS SEALED into the counters and walls. The management has been rude as hell from the day we toured till now, no regard for the residents because GOD FORBID we make them do their job. They have valet trash that only comes around at midnight and are LOUD. I mean they are yelling out to each other from across the buildings and throwing stuff around. I already have to listen to my downstairs neighbor scream and slam doors all day long just for the trash people to do the same thing in the middle of the night. But don’t worry bc if you don’t have your trash out before the sun goes down you’ll have a fee added to your rent bill. It has got to be an ai generator responding to these reviews bc how else does it get worse and worse here everyday. The residents also have NO disregard for anyone else here. There’s constant trash in the parking lot and scattered in the grass, random old furniture just sitting out in the open, and dog poop EVERYWHERE. It’d be one thing if the doors and windows actually closed properly, helping to keep the outside elements OUT, instead we have windows that leak when it rains and a management team the refuses to fix it. This complex simply just need to be shut down.

These apartments are very beautiful for upstairs. When I first saw the apartment it was beautiful everything was beautiful it came with a microwave that basically just put your finger on it and opens by itself but then you have to close it yourself. The living room was huge the kitchen what's big the bedroom was really bigger and the restroom was beautiful and the walk-in closets what I like the most because you're able to put your shoes right there in the middle. So if anyone decides to move here this is your best bet these apartments are very beautiful inside and outside the outside patio was big too and plus the closet that storage that's outside. So if anyone decides to move here your best bet is to move here because it's beautiful the pool is beautiful everything's beautiful the neighbors are very respectful very nice and they don't mess with you but they do tell you good morning. And the prices for these apartments are not expensive they're cheap for a one-bedroom so your best bet is to come check these out I promise you you're going to like them.

It was my very first apt and I had fallen in love due to the location. Upon move in, I had no running water in the shower. They cracked the tile to fix it and guess what, mold began to grow and instead of addressing the problem they slapped caulking on it and the mold never went away. Anyway 1 or 2 days later after moving in I came home to find roaches in my bed. Pest control came. Next problem, I realized I had loose outlets so I asked for them to be fixed. Maintances gets there when they get there. So I had to wait all day, and the moment I went to put my clothes in the laundry (left the door unlocked) locked out of my own apartment so i had to wait another hour for them to open the door and oh surprise they didnt fix the outlets. Needless to say I installed security cameras because they had a habit of coming in when I wasn't home despite asking them to notify me even if its 20mins. I made sure to schedule maintance when I was home. I kept finding roaches inb my apt. The emergancy AC thing kept leaking into the tub so all the paint lifted and stuck to my feet when I would shower. I have no clue how or why but 3 times the bathroom roof leaked water and not a drip drip drip it was a big splash then another. So another day of mine waiting for maintance. Roaches were always there. The laundry room had 3/6 washers thatree worked sometimes only 2, same goes for the dryers. Another issue, I always pay days before rent is due and I got an eviction notice in the mail and a phone call asking if i planned on paying rent, 2 WEEKS AFTER THE FIRST. Good thing I had a receipt. My final straw was when the bathtub faucet POPPED off and no way to shower. Just water blasting straight from the wall. This happened on Saturday around nightfall, I had to wait for Monday because maintance is Maintances is NOT 24hr as advertised. As for the neighbors, it was ok but one unit REEKED of weed and no one picked up after their dogs. Anyway I left as soon as my lease was up. They look nice but too big of a headache to deal with but hey the rent was cheap for a 1B1B.

Oscar..is amazing.. every time I call into maintenance and if he the one that comes to my apartment I can be assured the problem is fixed with minimal visits to my apartment. His attitude is always pleasant. If I point something else out that needs repair and he has time to fix it... he will take care of that problem too. You can tell he knows his job skills set because he makes it easy to understand what is wrong...and how he is going fixing it... Need more maintenance men like Oscar...he does not make you feel guilty to call in a repair..

I moved in a couple of weeks ago. So far, I have been very happy with my apartment! When I had to put in a maintenance request, Ventura (the maintenance man) has come the same day or by the next morning. I really appreciate the fast service! Megan and Melody are the 2 people in the office that I have spoken with. Both of them are really nice! My experience has exceeded my expectations!
