The Boiler Repair Man

Excellent service from the Boiler repair Man. No hot water for 2 weeks and a boiler beyond economical repair, Boiler Repair Man came out, quoted (several budget options) and installed new boiler. Quick response to my initial enquiry and within 3 days of accepting their quote, our boiler was in. Can’t fault the boys that worked all out fitting the boiler 2 days before Christmas when most trades have generally shut down. Highly recommend.

After any months of our boiler not functioning properly, we contacted The Boiler Repair Man who after an initial visit, returned and carried out a significant and successful rewiring. Our boiler is now working well. Both engineers were thorough and courteous, and we would recommend them. We are so grateful for their help.

Overpriced and Disappointing Experience We contacted The Boiler Repair Man about a boiler leak (non-emergency). It took them two days to send an engineer. When he arrived, he was in our home for less than five minutes — he removed the boiler case, immediately found the leak, took a photo (to send to head office), then left. Three weeks passed with no follow-up, and the leak continued. I eventually left a review, after which head office finally got in touch — quoting £200 to carry out the repair. To our surprise, we were also told we owed a £120 diagnosis fee for the engineer’s five-minute visit — despite no repair, no report, and minimal time spent. For context, the typical rate for boiler diagnostics in Glasgow is £60–£90. We’ve since decided to install a new central heating system and boiler — but we certainly won’t be using this company again. For a basic diagnosis that took minutes, being charged £120 feels unjustified. There are definitely more reasonably priced and responsive companies out there.

Absolutely excellent! Wish I had left my energy provider's boiler cover and just paid for the boiler service with this company many moons ago. The issues that my energy provider's boiler cover could never identify and repair were identified and quickly resolved in a matter of minutes by the engineer. I was also really pleased with the professional and attentive customer service throughout (via email, whatsapp and in person). Cherry on the cake is the incredibly reasonable prices for such a high level of service. Thank you- I will be recommending you to everyone I know!

Came out multiple times to help resolve an issue at a great price. Decided we needed a new boiler but I had difficulty scheduling due to other commitments. Were very accommodating to this, boiler has just been installed and was done quickly and to a high standard. Highly recommend! Boiler price beat out competitors at over half the price quoted by other places :)

My central heating boiler required an annual service. Called this business and arranged an appointment. I later had to reschedule…no problem. On the day, the engineer arrived promptly. Very engaging and personable. In the courses of the job, he was required to access equipment in what I consider to be a pretty tight spot…not a problem. I was thoroughly impressed by the positivity, efficiency and engineering background of the gentleman who attended my home. I would confidently recommend this business.

Definitely recommend these guys, from the initial quote right through to the install, the team were professional and approachable. I recently got a new Glow-worm combi boiler installed, including the removal of old boiler and tank and replacement of three radiators and a towel rail. I can't fault them at any stage. Any questions I had were answered and my new heating system and it's smart thermostat was explained to me aswell. will definitely use them again for my boiler servicing.

Would have no issues recommending this company. Booked a yearly boiler service with no stress or issues at all. The two engineers arrived promptly, were friendly and took their time doing the service, leaving no mess behind. Great service all round.
