The number of bikes on UK roads has increased by 28.9% since 1997, along with a 16.9% increase in motor traffic during the same time. It’s more important than ever for all road users to take extra care, whether your means of transport has two wheels or four, which is why the theme of this year’s Road Safety Week is Bike Smart.
