The Bespoke Barber

I was first brought to the Bespoke Barber's when my dad took me before we went on vacation to Key West. Before then I had been going to a local barber, the haircuts there were fine and practical but not what I'd call extra ordinary. But at The Bespoke Barber I was able to experience a straight razor shave for the first time (one I really enjoyed) and a very satisfying haircut. Since then I've made regular maintenance appointments with him and have never left unsatisfied or upset with the service I got. The prices are also fair as well. And affordable to those of us who want a quality treatment that won't break the bank. The same can be said about the products he sells for home care: great quality for an affordable price. Lastly I cannot stress enough that The Barber himself is just a really good person to talk to in general. He's nice, kind, humble, accommodating, very helpful and doesn't mind just having a chat while he's giving you a shave or a trim. Plus, the ambiance and decor of the place is also great. Makes me feel like I'm in the 20s or 50s. Just awesome. Oh! And there's also free refreshments. That definitely helps a guy relax. Seriously, I cannot recommend The Bespoke Barber enough.

I have been going to Scott for a haircut and beard trim for the past few years. I always enjoy my time with the Bespoke Barber, as he is friendly and engaging. He tailors his expertise to the hair and beard styles his clients are interested in and works hard to ensure they leave with the best results possible. Scott also carries some of the best men's hair and beard products in north Louisiana. He truly cares about his clients and their needs and I'm happy to have him in the neighborhood.

I've never really been too picky about where I get my hair cut or who cuts it, but since I first got an appointment with the Bespoke Barber I've gone nowhere else. The quality of the cut is the best ive had before. He pays attention to the small details, and really goes all out on the barber experience. He is professional, friendly, and makes great conversation. The Bespoke Barber is my barber and I highly recommend.

Anyone who knows me understands how selective I am about who cuts my hair and trims my beard. I come to Monroe 2 months per year for work, and I will never go anywhere else. It's all about the details. From the selection of blade for the shave, to the steamer, to the selection of oils/balms for my hair type, to the hot towel treatments, to the scissor work, everything he does is precise. One of the closest shaves I've ever had. My hair is thick, wavy, and difficult to control. He listened to how I like my hair to be styled and he cut it to adapt to that style. The longer side fades, the way he blends with scissors, and the way he thins/controls waves in my hair with a razor technique all made a difference. The overall result was a perfect haircut, which is a phrase that is so under-appreciated these days. He uses the perfect combination of trimmer and scissor work to ensure your hair lays and blends perfectly to suit your preferences. Lastly, he stocks products that I haven't seen anywhere since I lived in England. They are some of the best products on the market, but he doesn't just sell you; he learns about your hair/beard type and personalizes a selection of products for you, but he never pressures you to buy them. He works out of a room in his house, which is actually rather refreshing. I'm truly happy with the experience.

I've had the good fortune to have had my hair cut twice by this gentleman. He's very personable, conversational, and knows more about the craft than anyone I've ever spoken to. A quality job at a reasonable price. Also willing to be flexible with the schedule in a pinch. Will definitely be back.

Greatest haircut / beard trim I’ve ever had. Chris has created not only a great business, but an experience for the Monroe area. Walking into his barbershop is like taking a step back to another time. He is helpful and professional while also being welcoming and warm. He drastically improved the look of my hair and beard and showed me how to maintain and style on my own. He will continue to be my barber no matter how far I have to drive. His selection of hair and beard products is second to none.

You’re not going to find this experience anywhere else in the Twin Cities and probably in the state that’s for sure. I’ve been seeing Mr. Scott for few years now and I trust no one else with my beard and hair. This man loves what he does and he is good at what he does. Very educational on products and hair and b are issues to help you get your look to the next level. Makes you feel at home, great conversation and great service. Vintage vibe, light Jazz, relaxing, personal one on one experience and spectacular results keeps me coming back.

I had been looking for an old school barber. One skilled in the "old ways". Scott is one of the friendly individuals I have ever met. What a pleasure it was. I will be back again and again. I'd been cutting my hair and trimming my beard myself for years, so I was hesitant to let just anyone cut my hair. I made the right choice going here. I walked in feeling nervous and self conscious about my thinning hair, but Scott knew exactly what to do to change that and immediately put my mind at ease. He took the time to get to know me and my routine and help me find products that work best for my hair and beard. It felt like a very personal experience that had been catered to me. I haven't stopped looking at myself since I left and my girlfriend keeps telling me how good I look. I would happily pay twice what I did for the level of service I received, and I'm going to be letting everyone know that this is the place to go. Do you want to feel like a king? My experiences with Scott have been top tier. The shop is vintage and as clean as it gets, and it’s apparent he’s passionate about giving you the most authentic barber experience possible. I have pretty difficult hair and a pretty difficult beard to shape and he got everything looking better than I thought possible. I couldn’t agree more with the review left that said it’s not just a haircut, it’s an experience. I’d recommend him to anyone
