The Barking Bear Dog Training

We are so pleased that we found Jodie to work with us and our cocker spaniel puppy! We had some initial puppy training away from the home which taught some basics but we needed more guidance as Hugo approached 6 months. Jodie came to our home and worked with us to manage our pups behaviours in the right way. She explained everything in a straight forward clear way and always sent through notes after the session for us to look back on it we weren’t sure or something. Equally as valuable was Jodie’s approach to our neurodiverse household where she adapted her approach perfectly to meet the needs of our children. We will not hesitate to use Jodie again should the need arise and wish we had done so from the start!

Jodie is a brilliant dog behaviourist. She’s helped me work on my pup’s barking inhibition training as well as training her on how to keep calm in an office environment since I take her in regularly and that was initially a very uncomfortable experience for my pup. Jodie really cares a lot for dogs and their well-being and it shines through in all her interactions with dog parents, including in those difficult moments when your pup just won’t stop barking! Would highly recommend working with her.

We asked Jodie from The Barking Bear for help with our adolescent Frenchie and she was amazing! We had started with the very basics but had hit a brick wall. Jodie not only explained the reason why this had happened and helped us understand the best ways for our little man to learn, she also trained us too lol.
