Install Artificial Grass on Dirt [Step-by-step process]
Procedure to Install Artificial Grass on Dirt
Make sure to choose a dry day for installing artificial grass by checking the weather forecast.
Step 1: Measure The Space before you Install Artificial Grass on Dirt
You must first determine how much artificial turf you require for your garden or yard. You should add a small amount more than required when measuring the size of the area.
Step 2: Getting ready for the Ground
You will need to dig the topsoil to a depth of 35mm. Then, cover an area with sharp sand to give it a neat and clean finish. This is possibly the most critical step to get right. A super flat and compact sand layer will make all the difference.
Step 3: Install the artificial grass.
This is the easy part. Line up the grass and roll it out. Then shuffle it around until it is in its final position.
Step 4: Joints
You must carefully connect joints for your artificial grass so they don’t show. Line up the artificial grass and fold back the edges of the joint. If you are using our Self-Adhesive Joining Tape, peel back the protective strip and place it on the Ground, facing upwards and between the joints. Carefully fold the artificial grass back and ensure the connection is seamless.
