We decided to try Thailander while in Porto, and honestly, it turned out to be one of those meals you keep thinking about after you leave.
The space itself is great, they have both upstairs and downstairs seating. Downstairs felt more open, brighter, and just more comfortable overall, so I would definitely recommend that if you have the option.
The service really stood out. Everyone was genuinely friendly and accommodating, not in a forced way, but in a way that makes you feel welcomed right away. We leaned on their recommendations, and I’m glad we did because every single dish they suggested was worth it.
Food-wise, this felt like a truly authentic experience. Everything was top notch. The spice levels were exactly how we asked for them, and the flavors were just on point. You can tell the food is made fresh, it came out hot, full of flavor, and just really satisfying.
Portions were also solid. Easily shareable between two people if you’re trying multiple dishes, which is exactly what we did.
Overall, this place checks all the boxes; great food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Definitely one of those spots I would come back to without even thinking twice.
