We had to remove several fence posts for them to get their truck into our backyard, which we were expecting from the beginning.
However, when working on the tree they took their large truck into the area between our house and our neighbor's house - right over the box containing our sprinkler manifold and the box containing our neighbor's sprinker manifold. The truck totally crushed and destroyed them both. Our neighbor's water was turned off while yall attempted to fix the issue and was never turned back on. They were not notified.
It took 15 days for yall to come back out and attempt to fix our neighbor's crushed and broken pipes. We were told at 8:45 at night that we could turn the water back on and yall had fixed the issue.
The repair was not strong enough and the main line burst once the water was turned on. We had to call an after hours plumber to get the water pumped out of the hole to be able to repair the line enough to get our neighbor's water turned back on that night.
We ended up getting an estimate from an irrigation company to assess the damage to both sprinkler manifolds and the cost of repair. They determined that your repairs on our neighbor's system were good enough except for the inlet break. On my system he found that you had repaired two pipes on the outlet side of the valves adequately. The inlet pipe however was crushed and bent enough that there were weak spots that would easily break once the water was turned on again. Also, on the inlet side three of the valves were leaking and all of the tops of the valves had been crushed and were not working properly. The estimated repair cost from his company was $2,000 (and we were charged a $75 damage assessment fee).
We ended up paying for all materials and doing the labor ourselves to get everything fixed. Materials were $370 (we had to replace the boxes as well as multiple pipes), the assessment fee was $75, and it took several hours of labor to get this completely fixed.
We reached out to Don about this and never heard back from him.
