Tex Axes

This place is awesome. The guy (forgot his name, sorry!) was super friendly, knowledgeable, a great instructor, and even gave us tips on how to improve our form individually. We had knives, hatchets, axes, and even a shovel! It was really clean, organized, and just a solid space with several areas/booths for throwing, some couches, and even a pool table in the back. We’ll definitely be back, 15/10

Tex Axes is surprisingly a very good spot for entertainment and fun. I did not expect that axe throwing was going to be as exciting and competitive as it was when we visited the place. The Tex Axes team was very friendly and knowledgeable on the sport and topic and relayed their expertise and the rules really well and with very little time involved. Food and drink and other entertainment options were also available. The place was also very clean and organized.

This was my first time coming to Tex Ax jersey village location. As soon as I walked in I was great with friendliness and kindness. Tim was especially awesome, patient, and a professional when showing me how to throw axes and knifes. Im definitely coming back and the service is top tier

It is definitely an experience. You have not done it before like me and my son they show you how to throw the axes for free before you start. We also threw knives and they let us do ninja stars for leaving the Google review. Overall, I would say it was a lot of fun of course nothing is cheap anymore, but it was worth the price. Me and my son had fun And we will be back.

Amazing Staff! Super friendly and helpful! My daughter absolutely loved it! So glad they let kids throw at age 8! Thank you for the extra time teaching Lilly how to throw and being patient with her until she finally stuck one! Will be back many times for sure!!

$20 per person, schedule online. You get unlimited throws during your timed session of 1 hour blocks. They have about 7 stalls available. Clean interior and friendly staff. Show up and get a brief 5 minute explanation of rules. Couches inside for seating while watching others throw. Standard fee includes axes but for $10 extra you can also throw knifes. It's a good time and a fun activity.

The staff members are very friendly and welcoming. They first taught me how to throw the axe, then the dagger, and finally the ninja star. I really enjoyed the vibe and the experience overall.

My father and I had an absolutely fantastic time at Tex Axes today for a little father daughter outing. From start to finish, the experience was totally seamless. Making a reservation and filling out the waiver was very simple. It was only around $30 per person for two to throw axes and knives for one hour in one lane, which felt like a fair deal for the fun we had. The staff made our experience truly unforgettable. They were incredibly helpful and patient, taking the time to thoroughly explain the techniques for throwing axes, knives, and stars. The staff went above and beyond, even bringing out personal hatchets and knives for us to try. Tim and the owner were very invested in ensuring we had a great time. I particularly appreciated the individual attention they gave me when learning to throw knives. Despite the difficulty, they were supportive and encouraging, guiding me through each step with precision. Their expertise and dedication was incredibly inspiring and they didn’t stop until I was able to stick all 3 knives in a row. Overall, the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the experience itself was simply amazing. My father and I can't wait to visit again and continue honing our ax throwing skills!

My husband and I just had a date night here and LOVED IT 😀 We've never been knife throwing before and it was so fun thanks to the owners helping us with technique and cheering us on (even when we sucked lol). We can't wait to go back!

Y’all this was SO MUCH FUN!! You have to come here with your boo or your fam/friends. It’s such a nice and fun atmosphere. My husband and I came here to end his 37th bday celebration. He found this establishment on Groupon so that we can have a little fun. We’re new to Houston and we haven’t been to many places for fun. The owner is Tim and he was SO helpful and encouraging for me a first timer. The music was FUN, the staff was friendly, and the vibe is NICE! They customized each room where you throw your axe. This place is a hidden Gem here in the Houston/Jersey City area. You gotta come here! Sunday-Thursday is when you can get the Groupon. Don’t wait until this place blows up and the line is out of the door.
