The Big News: Darden Restaurants Rebranding
Darden Restaurants, the powerhouse behind some of our favorite spots like Olive Garden and LongHorn Steakhouse, recently announced a major shake-up for the Bahama Breeze brand.
While 14 locations across the country are closing their doors for good, we have some exciting news for our local foodies: The Bahama Breeze at 1200 N. Alafaya Drive is safe!
Instead of closing, our East Orlando location has been selected for a total brand conversion. ### What Does This Mean for East Orlando Businesses?
Could we be getting a trendy Yard House? A sophisticated Seasons 52? Or perhaps the bold flavors of Chuy’s?
The conversion is expected to take place over the next 12 to 18 months. The best part? Darden is committed to keeping the restaurant open as long as possible before the renovation starts, and they are working hard to keep their talented team members within the Darden family.
