This is probably my second Google review in the past 15 years — and I’m leaving it because I am completely UNSATISFIED.
They appraised a 2,489 sq ft home as 3,252 sq ft — that’s 763 sq ft higher than the MLS! They also claimed there were no updates in the past 15 years, even though the bonus room was finished just last year.
I reached out multiple times (emailed) for clarification, but they refused to explain. I called their office, asked for a manager, and was told I’d receive a call back — but no one ever contacted me, and now my calls are being rejected.
Honestly, it feels like they just wanted to make the deal happen quickly, regardless of accuracy or fairness.
I just wanted to share my experience so others are aware of the lack of accountability and professionalism I’ve encountered.
Update: 10/10/25
After several attempts, they finally responded to our agent and apologized (see the picture of the email they sent).
Our agent and the bank kept insisting that the appraisal’s measurements were the most accurate, but I kept telling them this house is not 3,252 sq. ft.—they just didn’t believe me until now!
They’ve now revised the appraisal for the third time and changed some numbers, even though they claimed their appraiser is on vacation. I have no idea how they’re doing this, and honestly, I still don’t believe those numbers.
The new appraisal is still about 200 sq. ft. higher than what’s listed on the MLS. They lowered the square footage but raised the price per square foot to $198 from $163 !!! —to reach the same total sale price. This is total BS. We have had horrible experience with these people.
Be careful out there, everyone buying or selling houses. My friend once told me, “Most agents are very unknowledgeable and just trying to make the deal.” It’s so true.
