Tattoo HQ Hawaii

The place was immaculately clean. The people were super nice and professional and my tattoo artist Samantha did a amazing job. Definitely would come back again.

I got my tattoo a few weeks ago and it’s done such an amazing job healing. The artist who did my work was Ryan and I couldn’t have had a better experience. We took a good amount of breaks and he’s considerate in asking how ur doing. It also brings more ease knowing he likes to make sure you’re 100% sure with what you’re getting while also giving his honest feedback. The tattoo came out looking even better than I could have hoped for and the whole space was clean which made me feel more comfortable as well.

Hannah did my tattoo and she was amazing. She has such a light hand I hardly felt it and it was on my foot. She knew exactly what I was talking about and it came out beautiful. We was here on vacation and she worded with us on times. I would go to here again the next time we visit.

My daughters and I had a great experience at tattoo HQ. Jedi was amazing! He came in on Christmas to do our tattoos so we could have them before we headed back to Michigan. A sea turtle, a hammerhead shark, and Ohana with a hibiscus flower added to my anchor. The shop was extremely clean and the time and detail Jed put into our tattoos were unmatched. He listened to our ideas and offered suggestions to enhance the design but never pushed us to do anything other than what we wanted. Our best tattoos yet! If we are ever back we will return there for sure.

Great studio, great artists. Ryan was awesome. He killed it. He is a super personable dude and showed a lot of enthusiasm for the design. Light handed and pays a lot of attention to the small details that bring it all together. I’ll definitely find my way back here. Highly recommend reaching out to the shop👍🏼

Very clean and in nice strip plaza. Communication was friendly and quick response time. Tattoo was reasonably priced and less then original quote. Was understanding that I was unable to e-transfer deposit due to not living in US, but held my appointment anyways. During appointment was very patient and understanding of my vision for my tattoo and it came out amazing, I absolutely love it!

Jedi did an awesome job with our tattoos! Mine was a small fine line tattoo and my first one; jedi made me feel so comfortable. Everything was clean and sterile. He spent a lot of time making sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. My partner's tattoo was in a coarser style and jedi did an excellent job with the two different styles. He went out of his way to make sure the second tattoo was perfectly aligned. He was easy to work with and super professional. Ryan, who helped us book the appointment, is also so professional and very responsive.

Hannah did the best line work I've personally ever seen! We came in with a wonky tattoo idea to celebrate our wedding. She made our vision come to life. Thank you!

So disappointed in my experience. For the heart and the crescent was charged $150 (plus $20 that I left for tip) and as you can see, the finger tattoo was not deep enough. While it was still pealing I could tell it sat on the surface and was going to mostly peel off. The heart is also very very light and I feel will fade very fast. I don’t think the Tattooer is very experienced and I would have preferred to be made aware. I wanted a tattoo to commemorate my time in HI and at this point I will have to pay again to have this redone. Total waste of time and $$. My sisters heart is also very very light (we both got matching tattoos). This is what it looks like 10 days later after being tattooed. I’m not bashing the entire store but I am 100% disappointed in my experience with Sandy. I did reach out to her directly before doing this review and she offered to “retouch” but she very well knows that I am no longer in Hawaii.

Fantastic experience! Jedi was so professional and my tattoo is amazing. The place was super clean and inviting! Jedi worked fast and efficiently. He is really kind and funny. He made the whole experience 10/10! The other tattoo artist were great too. At times, all of the artists and customers were interacting with each other and having a blast. Most importantly - my tattoo is phenomenal and I would highly recommend Tattoo HQ!
