Tashila hostel

This was an absolutely fantastic stay for my friends and me as we were visiting from the United States for the first time in the breathtaking state of Sikkim. We were truly blown away by the warm hospitality, professionalism, and attentive service provided by the hostel manager. The owner, who runs the property so efficiently, also contributed greatly to our positive experience. The accommodation was affordably priced, offering excellent value. If I could, I would gladly give this place 10 stars!

The absolute best 🩷 We stayed here for 2 nights and it felt like home, so safe, so peaceful. The whole property is very clean and well maintained. The host and the owner are very respectful and friendly. The host made us feel so comfortable, she is such an amazing person 🩷

I've traveled and stayed at almost all the hostels in India but this one really stands out ! Had such a wonderful stay at this hostel...felt like a home to me... definitely gonna come back again.... Thanks for all the warmth and hospitality!

As someone who solo travels a lot, having a great hostel experience is non negotiable for me, and I'm glad that my stay at Tashila was exactly what I had expected and more. Tucked slightly away from the hustle bustle of the city, Tashila offers a great balance between solitude, great views and a whole lot of fun. The rooms are cleans, the halls are spacious and the people are amazing. Mr. Tashi the owner of the hostel is an amazing guy, super chill and makes every guest feel right at home. Huge shoutout to Srijana, the host. I've never seen a more fun loving, cheerful host, ever in all these years of travelling. She'll make sure you never have a "boring" day at the hostel. Location wise, it's at a good hike-able distance from a lot of popular tourist attractions, so that's another plus point. I could go on and on about how much I loved being here but it's something you have to experience for yourself. You'll come here as stranger and will leave with a heart full of memories and people you can't help but miss. If you're in Gangtok and are looking for a home away from home this is the place to be, period. 10/10 recommended.

Excellent stay at Tashila hostel Gangtok. All the areas including rooms are very neat and clean.I did not feel at all that I was staying at a hostel.I felt as if I was at home, such a friendly & safe environment, sri and shanti were so courteous and helpful just like a family member.I would recommend everyone that if they come to Gangtok, they should definitely visit Tashila once.Special thanks to Tashi sir (owner of the hostel) for maintaining the property so nicely.

My stay at Tashila Hostel was absolutely wonderful, largely thanks to the incredible hospitality of the owner, Mr. Tashi! From the moment I arrived, Mr. Tashi made me feel incredibly welcome and at home. He was always available for a friendly chat, offered fantastic local recommendations, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a comfortable stay. It truly felt like staying with a friend, not just at a hostel. Beyond the warm welcome, I was also incredibly impressed with the cleanliness of the dorms. The rooms were spotless, the linens were fresh, and the bathrooms were consistently clean. It's clear that Mr. Tashi takes great pride in maintaining a high standard of hygiene. This made my stay incredibly comfortable and worry-free. I highly recommend Tashila Hostel for anyone looking for a friendly, clean, and welcoming hostel experience. You won't be disappointed!

Thank you, Tashila Hostel, we had a wonderful stay. Great hospitality, clean room and cozy vibes😍. It's the perfect place for groups. We were lucky to visit on December 24 and enjoy the beautifully decorated Christmas party. It was so much fun and made our girl’s trip memorable♥️🥰
