I cannot recommend Symons Fire Protection, especially if you are facing a time-sensitive issue like a pipe leak. My final conclusion is that their service is unacceptably slow and disorganized, which is the absolute worst combination when dealing with a potential flood or fireline emergency. For those in a desperate situation, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. I had a fantastic experience with Raven Fire Protection, who was fast, professional, and addressed my critical leak issue in a timely manner. They are the company you want to call. My experience with Symons was an exercise in frustration. I had a leak in my front yard fireline pipeline. I called their front desk and scheduled an appointment, only to have no one show up on the scheduled date. When I called the company again, the front desk informed me that they needed to provide an estimate first, despite my having already scheduled a service appointment. I provided my contact information and details again. It took four full business days after this second call just to receive an email asking for my contact information, scope of work, and pictures--all details I had provided during my very first call. I was truly desperate and unsure who to turn to. Luckily, I saw another Google review complaining about Symons' service and recommending Raven Fire Protection. That crucial recommendation saved me, and I want to share my own story to help others avoid Symons' agonizing delays.

Symons Fire Protection fulfilled ALL our needs in the upmost professional, respectful and caring manner. Each employee and staff I have been in touch with, have demonstrated support and guidance through our needs. I cannot recommend enough this Company for your alarm systems and continous monitoring. We are utterly pleased with the service and customer support we've always received from them!

I'm so impressed with Symon's Fire Protection!! I bought a 2022 manufactured home that didn't have fire sprinklers from the manufacturer, so they had to be installed as a retrofit before I could use the home in Lakeside. Symon's was super fast with estimating and design, and were great at communicating. But what made me super happy... and this goes way above and beyond... Benjamin and Austin did the whole thing by crawling through the tiny attic of a manufactured home ... which is absolutely not made to be crawled through; it's a tiny space with long nails poking down everywhere from the roof. The manufacturer said they would need to cut drywall everywhere in order to do the job, so I was bracing for a huge mess of drywall dust and insulation everywhere. I'm so thankful to Benjamin and Austin for doing it the hard way! ... and this was on a hot day, so I know it was super hot in that attic, plus they were wearing masks due to the insulation. They did great work in awful conditions, and still had great attitudes and were great to talk to. You don't meet a lot of folks like that anymore. If you need fire sprinklers, hire Symon's Fire Protection. And I hope your job is easier than mine ... for their sake.

I was thoroughly impressed with the service provided by Symons Fire Protection. Ariel and Jordan were nothing short of amazing! They were professional, knowledgeable, and delivered exceptional customer service. As a property manager, I always seek vendors who are efficient and consumer-friendly, and Symons exceeded all my expectations. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because Jordan and Ariel genuinely deserve it. Thank you, guys!

Called multiple times and left messages to get an estimate for repair. Which I have no choice to go with them because of HOA. They refuse to call you back.

Outstanding business and Joshua Paris was a fantastic professional. Late this last Sunday evening, my husband and I were working on remodeling our guest room when we accidentally drilled into a PVC Fire sprinkler line. We are in a townhome complex and have no individual unit valve for our fire sprinkler system and could do nothing but sink the screw back in and apply towels to the pipe. We desperately called friends who are in the construction business and several 24-hour businesses that were unable to help us same night. Through a referral, Joshua who was on call at Symons Fire Protection got our info and gave me a call. I was in quite a panic but within a minute of speaking to him, I felt like I understood what was going on, how bad it could have been, how it will be fixed and what options I had. He made it very clear what I was dealing with since this was an emergency after hours situation and what I could do if I wanted to try to manage things until the morning/normal hours. He even had me laughing at one point which just goes to show how personable his communication was. Ultimately, I decided I just didn't want to risk waiting until morning and had Joshua come out to fix the issue immediately. Within 30 minutes Joshua was at our house and got straight to work. He was informative, professional, and a calming presence throughout what had previously been a disaster of an evening. He had the system under control, the leak stopped, and the repair done quickly and efficiently. I am extremely happy with the service he provided and the quality of the work that was done. I saved his number in my phone as Josh the Fire Sprinkler Savior and have already shared the number with friends who wanted that contact handy in case they ever run into something like this. Great job Joshua and to Symons for their outstanding employee.

Beware! Although I was thankful Symons Fire Protection was willing to repair our broken fire sprinkler line that flooded our downstairs, I was mortified to learn that, regardless of this problem being during normal business hours, this will be billed as an emergency and will need to pay "$675 PLUS $225 PER HOUR that’s billed from the moment the tech leaves his home until he gets back home!” Although I thought that was insane [since this was during business hours] I agreed since our water was turned off; however I called another company (Raven Fire Protection that was not as geographically desirable as SFP) who, thankfully, answered their phone and assured me they would be here shortly. In the end I was treated professionally and kindly by that tech who completed the repair within minutes of his arrival so our water could be turned back on (after, of course, the glue dried). And it cost far less than who knows what SFP would have charged as I felt they were taking advantage of our predicament.

Outstanding response and service. Over the Memorial Day weekend our intake pipe at our townhome community exterior closet sprung a leak and water was going everywhere. Called the "Emergency Line Number" and a human actually picked up! A very talented technician was immediately sent out to fix the problem and it was fixed perfectly. This company is excellent and our new "go to" for all things related to fire sprinkler maintenance and repairs.

Mike G helped me out big time when I was in a bind. Great company that does great work without ripping you off. As far as I'm concerned Symons is the the only honest fire alarm company that I have dealt with. Thank you.
