Sweet Tradition

Lovely little sweet shop with lots of choice. Kids enjoyed their pick and mix and me and my husband had some pear drops. Nice to see the old style sweets. Was very busy when we went but the customer service assistants wet very quick to reduce the queues.

Been going here for years can't fault good old fashioned sweets at all here,,,, recently had a mix up on my collection,,,but a quick email and a fast response all was sorted,,,very happy with customer service and will be returning 👍

I ordered off your website for 2x snow balls, and they have been delivered to a random house in Wakefield whilst I live on the other side of the country. I double checked that my delivery/ billing address was correct which it was. I’ve contacted Royal Mail and they said that I need to speak directly to the business. On your website it is not letting me send an enquiry form and no one has picked up the phone when I’ve tried to call. Can this please be resolved as this was for a gift and I really don’t want to have to reorder for the same mistake to happen again.

Incredibly overpriced, traditional sweets are tasteless £4.50 for 200g of sweets i understand you have to pay wages and everything like that I wouldn't mind if they tasted nice but it's like sucking rock! However cannot fault the staff they have always been polite and cannot blame anything on them, disappointed though.. Updated review! Adam the owner responded with respectful and honest feedback and offered me a replacement for the sweets. The customer service here I will give 5*s. Some sweets are better than others and I understand now it is the manufacturer however I do think prices are still a bit high I understand why but it's cheaper at poundland etc. However keep family business alive. Thanks Adam! I will be back for for sweets in the future as a treat!

Got here at about 8.40 it should close at 9 i asker politely if my son could have a quick look round. the lady said no in a rude manner. I dont understand why they want customers out 20 minutes before closing time. I get 5 minutes. But 20!

Went in tonight for freeze dried sweets. non of them was priced. I asked a member of staff how much they was she said there different prices for different packets. Well thats pretty obvious. But if they carnt be bothered to price them up. Then I carnt be bothered to waste my time asking so left without any. Ill order from an online company if thats ur customer service. Carnt stand it when things in a shop aren't priced up am I ment to wait in a queue just to ask for prices. As for ur reply the shop looks awesome ur produce looks awesome two or three big price tickets next to all the bags would be a great help. The review was not about the shop it was about my first experience. Look at the stars I gave I have ur shop 5 stars.

I went to the shop today and after checking with Meadowhall it should be closing at 9. I arrived there for 8:40 pm and there was a customer inside. As the shutters were slightly down I asked politely with my 11 year old son if we could make a purchase. The woman looked at me coldly and said No! Well excellent customer service, to say the least

Most sweets (especially loose in jars) are rock hard and a bit stale.. you can expect prices to be higher because they’re the only real sweet shop in Meadowhall, but those jar sweets aren’t fresh at all. They taste awful and cheap

You, my friend, are absolutely amazing, as is your shop. You're 21 with a great business that makes people happy! I went in on a day one of your staff called in sick, before Christmas, and you did really well working on your own. You have a shop to be greatly proud of, so keep at it! Great shop with a big variety of sweets. The staff are helpful and Talkative (always good to have friendly staff.) I do find it slightly cramped but only when it’s busy. The shop looks like a child hood dream and is quite cheap. Would recommend
