We purchased a mobile bench- it features now as the "Langdon". Although we were pleased initially, it became apparent that the castors were poor quality- because at $900+ it falls into a premium price point and you'd expect the castors to be fit-for-purpose. The castor problem does not appear until the bench is loaded- for example with a Kitchen Maid and food processor. Regardless the castors are crap and therefore we had to drag the bench across the floor. Recently the mobility issue began to really bug me, so I purchased four castors, with a robust bearing a thicker mounting plate and non marking wheels (rated at 90 kg per wheel) and WOW......what a difference!!
It is not fair for anyone to purchase, what appears to be a solid product, to find out later, they need to outlay more to replace defective parts. When the trolley is empty and nothing on the bench is NOT the time to assess the mobility- when you get home and place 60 kg of appliance on it, and then try to move it around. The description states ".....is easy to move when needed". I found otherwise.
