Amazing first surf experience with Aquaman Surf School! We had our first-ever surfing lesson with Aquaman Surf School on 1st July at 4pm, and it exceeded all expectations. A huge thank you to head instructor Rendy, who led our private 1-on-1 session for our group of four. Even though the tide was out and we were working with shallow water, Rendy and his team adapted brilliantly, setting each of us up perfectly for wave after wave. What really stood out was how quickly we all got up and standing on the board — Rendy’s teaching style is patient, encouraging, and clearly comes from years of experience reading both the waves and his students. Every one of us, despite having zero surfing background, left the water feeling like we’d actually caught real waves and had a blast doing it. If you’re considering learning to surf for the first time, this is the school and the instructor to go with. Can’t recommend Rendy and the Aquaman Surf School team highly enough — we’ll be back!

I spent 2 weeks with Rendy and honestly couldn’t ask for a better surf coach. In that time I progressed a lot. He is the best instructor I have ever had, and I've had quite a few. What really stood out was how safe I always felt in the water with him. He is very good at reading the conditions and never put me in a position I wasn’t ready for. But he's not just about drilling technique either. He teaches you how to actually enjoy surfing which honestly makes all the difference when you are learning. If you are in Bali and you want to get better I can’t recommend Rendy enough. You’ll be a better surfer, and you’ll have a great time doing it.

Yesterday my children went surfing with the instructors Rendy and Boyong from AquamanBali Surf School. Rendy and Boyong were teaching my two sons (10 and 12 years old), and the experience was absolutely wonderful. Rendy explained everything very clearly and patiently. Even one of my sons, who doesn’t understand English very well, was able to understand everything and feel confident in the water. Both Rendy and Boyong are very positive, friendly, and at the same time highly responsible and attentive. Despite the fact that the waves were quite big that day, I felt completely calm and safe trusting them with my children. They were always focused, supportive, and in control of the situation. We all really enjoyed the experience and were very happy with the lesson. We highly recommend AquamanBali Surf School and the instructors Rendy and Boyong to anyone who wants a safe, professional, and enjoyable surfing experience — especially for kids.

We had an amazing first surfing experience with Randy today! He was patient, friendly, and explained everything in a very clear and easy-to-understand way. I signed up for a lesson with Aquaman Bali, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. Randy is a fun and very friendly coach, he breaks down the basics clearly, always make sure I knew exactly what to expect before we heading into the waves. Out in the waves, Randy was incredibly attentive. He kept an eye on my posture, and offer helpful tips to correct me! I really enjoyed myself riding on the waves and 10/10 highly recommended Randy/Aquaman Bali. I'll be back to look for him the next time in Bali.

Rendy is a very good teacher. 1. He is very comprehensive in his lesson. - he looks into every aspects of the surf from before entering the water, position on the board, paddling, catching the waves, riding the wave etc. 2. He is laser focused on improving your surfing. - he is not there just to push you off and ensure you stay alive in the water. It's much much more.

Cannot recommend enough this school ! I’m a beginner (2nd time surfing) and the whole team has been very professional. I was supposed to have my lesson in the morning but the waves were too intense so Rendy suggested that we postpone. We rescheduled to the afternoon and my coach Roy was great ! Lots of fun. I was able to go home with good pictures and videos 🙏🏻

If you’re looking for a surfing class, I 100% recommend Rendy as your surfing coach! He’s professional, patient, and super friendly, with over 20 years of experience. I’m so glad he was my first surfing coach — I learned a lot and had so much fun. I’ll definitely look for him again when I’m back in Bali! 🌊🏄‍♀️

Rendy was a really great instructor. I had two beginner lessons last week. I could really feel how thoughtful and caring he was in making sure I could surf safely. Even though I wasn’t doing well, he patiently explained everything to me. Although we only got to surf together twice due to my schedule change, I’ll definitely learn from Randy again when I go back to Canggu. Thx for the good memories!!
