Dr. Gardner and his team came highly recommended by our pediatric dentist, Dr. Dabir at Carlsbad Children’s Dentistry. We are so glad to have found him and his staff. Dr Gardner has a wonderful bedside manner (and a good sense of humor that puts people at ease), explains things really clearly, and pays meticulous attention to detail. His staff provide personalized service, and makes the relatively involved process of getting expanders and braces feel so straightforward. The office is very clean and comfortable, and there is an outstanding mural on the walls, which I actually really enjoy looking at every time we go! Everyone there is so nice, my kids actually enjoy going there! Dr. Gardner also helped me with a new retainer and I am very happy with it! I highly recommend this practice.

I came to Surf n Smiles to fix some bite alignment issues with Invisalign. Dr Gardner and his staff are friendly and very competent. He is fastidious to every detail not only with how he treats his patients, but in how his office is run. If you need orthodontic care, this is the place to go!

Dr Gardner is amazing! He’s been helping straighten my son’s teeth (13) for almost 2 years. It’s been such a smooth and pleasant experience my husband and I both decided to straighten our teeth. We had a great experience with Dr Gardner. He took his time with all 3 boys who needed braces. He fully explained our different options available to accommodate their individual needs. X-rays and consultations all completed for my 3 boys in one visit! The staff and assistants were very friendly, I highly recommend Surf and Smile.

We love Dr. Gardner and his amazing staff! I have 4 children who have been or currently are his patients. The process of getting my Invisalign with Dr. Gardner and his team was so pleasant. From beginning to end, I was well taken care of and they always did a great job of explaining everything to me. I certainly recommend his office for anyone looking for orthodontic work.

After doing some comprehensive research, we decided to go with Surf & Smiles. We liked that they offered the expander that does not require manual adjustments by the parent. It expands on its own naturally over a 6-8 month period. Throughout my 10-year-old daughter’s journey of getting braces, her voice was heard by Dr. Gardner and support staff. They empowered her by listening to her concerns, educating her about her treatment plan, and by working at her pace. This gave my daughter the opportunity to work through any anxiety/fears about getting braces. Additionally, the front desk staff are friendly and welcoming. I can tell that all of the staff work together as a team to address any questions and concerns. The office has a nice vibe and the staff seem to be harmonious team.
