We cannot say enough good things about this company. We had them out to replace an old railroad tie retaining wall and they did a great job. Carlos was very involved throughout the process, which brought us immense peace of mind and said a lot that the owner of the company is personally invested in our project. Fernando and his crew were knowledgeable and worked hard, and they made adjustments at one point to the wall level rather than try to hide it like other companies would. Ginny and the other office staff stayed in constant contact with us to coordinate it all. SunSouth was very willing to work with us to make sure we got the wall we wanted and accommodate any changes we had. They even used the fill dirt from excavating the wall to flatten a hill and increase our usable yard size. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing masonry work. Their integrity and communication with us were more than we could have hoped for. Their price was also competitive with other quotes we had received.

SunSouth did a phenomenal job with our paver patio. To start off, we did 8+ hours of research to get some foundational (hah) knowledge to evaluate proposals and spent a considerable amount of time getting quotes from 5 hardscaping companies. Logan at SunSouth provided by far the best spec (the gold standard open grade chip base vs ABC with screenings) and paid the keenest attention to detail on longevity considerations around the drainage system and the base stabilization/edge retention. The design was also superior in accounting for aesthetics, utilities, and day to day use. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process especially during the HOA review. Logan and Ginny were on top of providing requested answers and documents to ensure the highest odds of ARC approval. Moving on to the construction phase - every project has unseen challenges and let's just say, SunSouth, and especially Logan absolutely went above and beyond for each one. - One particular situation had to do with the base of the paver patio in our Carolina clay-dominant yard. Without going into specifics, SunSouth really went out of their way to deliver an incredible product to stand the test of time and mitigate settling/movement in a few years. - Logan also did us a huge favor to ensure the best finished product possible by personally going out of his way to source an uncommon material. - Alberto led a crew that was always on time, were wonderful to work with and did a meticulous and efficient job. Their craftsmanship and execution was high-level, especially around intricate paver cuts to meet tight tolerances. I truly believe this is the top choice for a paver patio and general hardscape in the Charlotte metro area.

SunSouth Carolinas is truly the best company you can go with if you are in need of yard designs and installations! Our family came to their team with a list of desires and medium-sized yard to work with. They were able to incorporate EVERYTHING we asked for, plus some surprises! The turnaround time is incredible (we had a goal date of our daughter's first birthday and they made it happen). The team is lovely--so positive, respectful, yet also super transparent and straightforward. We couldn't have asked for a better team to work with in creating the backyard putting green, patio, pergola and fireplace of our dreams!

We are very pleased with our new paver patio. When Carlos came out to provide us with an estimate, he spent a great deal of time talking to us about our goals for the project and provided us with several very nice design options. Christina and Ginny worked with us in the design center, helping us to select the materials best suited for our project. Upon completion, Carlos came out in person to see the finished patio and ensure that it met with our satisfaction. From start to finish, it has been a pleasure working with Sun South Carolinas. Although our project was not extravagant, Sun South treated us like an important and valued customer. We feel confident in their workmanship and appreciate that they stand by their work. I would recommend this company without hesitation and plan to utilize their services for future projects.

Loved working with SunSouth Carolinas for my outdoor kitchen! They had great ideas and were easy to work with! They put in and outdoor grill, refrigerator and cabinet and added additional pavers that match perfectly with our existing pool area! They also added a metal adjustable pergola which tops it off perfectly! Highly recommend them for your next outdoor addition!

The entire SunSouth Carolinas crew was absolutely amazing! Logan did a fantastic job of designing our extended patio, fireplace and privacy wall. Ginny was a delight to work with as she kept me in the loop with lining up the workload throughout the process. Our foreman Luke and his crew were very professional and their attention to detail simply amazed me. I had a vision for what I wanted in my outdoor living space and this team exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend SunSouth Carolinas for any backyard project. They are top notch!

Sun South did a great job installing pavers for my backyard walkways and new patio. The difference is the time spent on the foundation for all pavers. Alberto did an excellent job with the installation. Carlos created a very nice design. They don’t leave until you are completely satisfied. It was a significant investment, but one that will last and pay off if I ever sell the property.

Cannot say enough positive things about SunSouth Carolinas. They did a phenomenal job with my patio project. Everything from the quote, to the design process, scheduling, and execution was professional and the team was extremely communicative throughout. They took my loose requirements and turned it into a beautiful and FUNCTIONAL design. They installed my patio, extended my mulch beds and added in the flagstone path- and they left the worksite as clean as they found it. Very happy with their work and would highly recommend them!

From start to finish, they are professional, knowledgeable, creative, and each person at every level of this family run company has an incredible work ethic! Ginny, my first point of contact, made me feel as if we were their only client, no matter how many times I called. I then met with Logan, who came to our home. I walked him through our vision for a patio extension. The end design he came up with exceeded our expectations, and it was obvious he had listened carefully to everything we said was important to us, as well as staying within our budget. The crew was INCREDIBLE! They were timely, worked very hard, and cleaned up before they left each day. The level of expertise, commitment and pride in their work was very evident.
