Sunshine Speech Therapy

We love Sunshine Speech. Sarah and her team have been exceptional. All of my kids needed myofunctional therapy and she made sure it was fun for them. They all looked forward to seeing her every week. We saw many improvements in speaking, swallowing, tongue posture, and jaw growth. We were concurrently getting expansion and ties released at the same time. Sarah also helped with post release care. I am so thankful that Sarah and her team are here to help our kids grow and thrive.

This is a wonderful service with an exceptionally professional staff. From the moment my 3-year old walked in, the atmosphere meant that he went right to the sunshine pillows and warm displays. We had been so worried about his anxiety and reticence to be in new environments, but he settled right in. Sarah is astute and seems to pick well-trained and affable therapists, so my son's experience with his therapist has been one of eager anticipation. He's always excited about going, and we have seen such drastic improvements in his speech. I am extremely thankful for this practice.

We absolutely love Sarah at sunshine speech. From day one my daughter has been comfortable there. Sarah makes speech fun and exciting. My daughter looks forward to going every week. Not only is Sarah amazing for her warmth, but she is wonderful at her job. My daughter has made so much progress since she started less than a year ago! I would highly recommend Sarah and her team!

My twin boys were born at 25 weeks and had been receiving speech services in home and when they aged out at 2 our therapist recommended Sarah at Sunshine Speech to us. When we started with Sarah our boys were barely talking and significantly behind. At our initial appointment Sarah also found extreme tong and lip ties for both of them, which were concerns I had brought up with their other doctors and specialists, due to feeding issues, but were missed. This was just the start of our AMAZING experience with Sunshine and the insane transformation our boys were about to go through. Through our 2 years with Sarah and her team (we have worked with all of her therapists and they are all amazing!) the boys have excelled in their speech, now speaking clearer than most of their peers and they have over come feeding difficulties. The confidence and personality in my boys have skyrocketed with the improvement of these skills through their help. The boys also LOVE their speech secessions and are so upset to have graduated and that they are no longer going to be able to “play” with Ms Sarah and her team at Sunshine. My son had the pleasure of working with Sarah over a period of several months and his progress was remarkable! Sarah made myself and my child feel comfortable and the environment was always fun and engaging. Each session was different but always personalized to his specific needs. Sarah is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of her work and was always happy to share additional resources and answer questions. Highly recommend!!

Sarah and her team were incredible with my daughter. My one year old ended up needing a frenectomy to correct a tongue tie and a lip tie. It is not an exaggeration to say the experience changed her life. Our sweet girl had so much discomfort prior to the procedure and we never found answers until visiting Sarah and her team. She did a thorough evaluation, listening to our concerns and educating us on all of our options and information. We opted to have the procedure and she helped us navigate the procedure and recommendations and walked us through a painful post-op with patience and strategies for comfort and healing as well as evaluating her skills, progress and development after the correction. Because of all that we learned in the process, we were better equipped to get our next little one Myofascial release in his first few days after birth which completely transformed his feeding and newborn journey. I wish I had known about these resources sooner, but I'll shout it from the rooftops now that I do for every other mama needing help! For extra context- we didn't have insurance at the time and paid out of pocket for the services with both kids and it was worth EVERY penny!

We’ve had such a wonderful experience working with Sarah! She quickly identified our 3-year-old son’s speech challenges and always comes up with creative, engaging techniques to keep him involved. Her warm, welcoming approach makes him feel comfortable and excited to come each week. We’re so grateful for her expertise, encouragement, and the genuine care she brings to every session.

We love Miss Sarah!! My son has Down syndrome and he has been going to Sarah for about 6 months. He thrives there and is so excited to see her and play. She has pulled many sounds out of him and we are always so excited to hear the new things she works on with him. I highly recommend Sarah and Sunshine Speech therapy!

I can not shout out how amazing Sunshine Speech Therapy is enough! My daughter was struggling with her speech and confidence. My daughter was painfully shy and wouldn’t want to leave my side. She warmed right up to Sarah and even looked forward to her speech appointments bc she would get to play fun games all while improving her speech and her confidence. If you are looking for a speech therapist, look no further!!! Sarah is INCREDIBLE!!!

I can’t say enough good things about our experience at Sunshine! Sarah and her staff were wonderful, kind, beyond easy to work with and my son left every appointment happier than he came in. The results we saw with his speech and confidence were significant and exactly what we were hoping for. The culture there is so positive and supportive; I 100% would recommend them to anyone looking for an SLP for their little one.
