AMAZING REAL AUTHENTIC THAI MASSAGES!!!! THIS WAS THE BEST MASSAGE OF MY LIFE NO ONE HAS EVER BEEN SO IN TUNE & PUT SO MUCH EFFORT READING MY MUSCLE TENSION & FOLLOWING THE TENSE MUSCLE TO THE MAIN TENSION KNOTS AND KNEW EXACTLY HOW TO HANDLE EVERY ANGLE OF EACH MUSCLE AND TENDON AND NERVES AROUND THEM COMPLETELY BACK INTO ALIGNMENT!
I have to write this review because I was hesitant to come here after reading some of the one stars but I’m so glad I went anyway and after my experience I have to write this review because those one stars made me so mad.
First of all, they give REAL DEEP TISSUE MASSAGES! No you’re not going to get the deep tissue that you get at hand and stone or massage envy. These people are legit massage professionals most the time 2-3 generation wizards in this craft and it is SO hard to find professionals trained like this in so many different modalities within the states so this place is a gold mine just on that principle alone. They’re going to ask to step on you if you need it which I did and they’re going to use ACCUPRESSURE for deep release. They are complete WIZARDS at this and I loved EVERY SINGLE SECOND OF IT because it is SO hard to find a place that does this outside of Philly or even in my home state of Florida unless I drive 40+ minutes away. I was sore the next 2 days so I drank so much water and made sure I didn’t eat any inflammatory foods or meats with bad oils and after that I had absolutely no knots! That’s how it’s done right! If they’re going to hard, YOU JUST TELL THEM TO LIGHTEN UP IN THAT AREA and they kindly do! All you have to do is communicate that and be aware of what you’re walking into! Just tell them harder and softer where needed and let them know you want more American style deep tissue that’s all!
As for the cleanliness of the place, it was very very clean. Yes the shopping center is a bit rough looking on the outside but haven’t we learned by now to not always judge a book by its cover there’s a reason that saying exists! they rent the place and probably have a slumlord but they try their best to make it so nice inside it was not smelly when I was there and These massage beds were one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever laid on WAY more comfortable than the ones at massage envy. I rather lay on a $4k bed that is super soft & cloudy in a tiny simple room than a $1k hard bed in a fancy room. They have really reasonable prices and you can tell they care more about providing quality and healing the customer than overcharging them, giving mediocre effort like massage envy does just so they can afford a fancy looking office. They don’t have doors and you can hear people come in but it really was not distracting it’s very quiet I have had the same experience at massage envy even with the doors closed and the little fans on to muffle the noise I still hear people talking walking by it is what it is but everyone stays very quiet and courteous the massage therapists are never chatting in the hallways or being disruptive they quickly guide people into their rooms and check them out using minimal if any conversation in passing other than “hi I’m here for my appointment” and “it was great thank you I’ll be back”. If you’re going to be fussy about this book in your own house, you’re in a shared office.
If you find yourself unsure whether to go because of some of the lower rated reviews, please consider still going and just remember COMMUNICATE in simple terms “harder” and “softer”. Yes the massage therapists don’t speak English but they know those words. Just don’t be afraid to let them know what you want. I’m so glad I went anyway, and now I’m going back again next week with my boyfriend and will be giving this as a gift for my mom.
