Two of the three toilets at this Buderim property had stopped flushing altogether, and the third was leaking into the bowl. The outlet valve mechanisms had worn to the point of failure. Our plumber replaced the outlet valve on each cistern, retaining the existing mounting brackets where they remained serviceable. A full cistern service including inlet valve replacement would have been the more comprehensive approach, but the owner opted for outlet valve replacement only given budget considerations. Sunshine Coast Plumbing and Hot Water completed the repairs to restore function, though partial repairs carry some risk of future issues with the retained components. Toilets running or failing to flush properly benefit from assessment. Contact our team for plumbing services when cistern problems affect daily use.
