Fence installation had clipped both the stormwater drain and the water service at this Caloundra West property. The contractor could not fully isolate the main, and water continued to flow while they waited for assistance. Our emergency plumber arrived, shut down supply at the meter, and exposed both damaged lines. The stormwater required a PVC section with rubber couplings, and the water service needed a compression repair on the poly line. Attempting a patch on either would have held temporarily but risked failure under pressure or during the next storm. A soapy water test confirmed no leaks before backfill.
