Sunset Sprouts Preschool

I cannot say enough good things about Sunset Sprouts. My son attended for almost 3 years before Kindergarten and my younger son will attend soon. The teachers have a thoughtful play-based program that prioritizes time in Golden Gate Park and includes gardening, cooking, and art. Their toys are simple and unbranded to encourage kids to use their imaginations. Lunches are included so that’s one less thing for me to worry about. When my son wrapped up his time here, the teachers sent home the “journals” he worked on throughout his time there - his drawings and what he told his teachers they were each day. It was a great reminder of how his interests, verbal and motor skills developed over time. The teachers had simple rules for behavior that my son repeated at home, and I liked all of them. They helped the kids talk out their disagreements themselves. I’m thankful the preschool set him up to look forward to school.
