High Desert Protection: Our Vaccine Requirements
Living in Sunriver means our dogs enjoy a world-class lifestyle—hiking around the Deschutes, splashing in the river, and exploring the meadows. But that Wild West life comes with unique risks that city vets might not always prioritize.
At Sunrover Dog Daycare, we don't just check boxes. Our vaccine requirements are designed specifically for the Central Oregon environment to ensure every dog in our care stays healthy and adventure-ready.
What we require (and why):
Rabies: Protecting against local wildlife.
DAPP: Shielding against soil-hardy viruses like Parvo.
Bordetella: Essential for any social pack environment.
Leptospirosis: Vital protection against bacteria found in our local rivers and wildlife-frequented meadows.
Special Cases:
We understand that every dog is unique. For pups with medical conditions or immunization issues, we accept Titer Testing with a signed letter from your veterinarian.
We also strongly recommend the Canine Influenza vaccine to keep our community safe from recent respiratory outbreaks.
