I don’t know how we can possibly describe how incredible it was to work with Carolina. Our wedding was beyond our wildest dreams. We’re from the US and it was so important to us to make sure our guests felt like traveling across an ocean for our wedding was worth it. Carolina really took that concern to heart and created the most magical experience for us and our guests. A number of them even described it as the best day of their lives. You have to completely trust your wedding planner when planning a destination wedding and we had that trust with Carolina. She was always really respectful with our budget and helped us make decisions that would be the best bang for our buck. She worked tirelessly during the lead up and on the day of. I don’t know how she does it! She has great connections in the wedding industry and all of her vendor recommendations were amazing. Sublime Luxury Weddings are the best wedding planners you can ask for! I dont even know where to begin. Carolina was absolutely exceptional from start to finish and beyond, in the planning of our wedding. She stood out from other planners, and what made the decision fall on her at the start of our partnership was her confidence, knowledge, and personality. The fact that she's native English and Portuguese speaker certainly didn't hurt (we don't know any Portuguese at all!). We loved working with Carolina. Her attention to detail and organisation skills are second to none. She communicated in an excellent way and prioritised her clients in a clear and sensible way. Any time we had questions or ideas, she had answers and feedback. She handled everything we wanted and more. Hearing from friends and family who got married and arranged all or even parts of their own weddings themselves, they all shared the testimony of stress, "firefighting" on the day, and not being able to fully enjoy their own special day. We didn't want that to be our story. We wanted the wedding to be exactly how we wanted it, and also be able to enjoy every second of it. Thanks to Carolina, that is exactly what happened. We cherish the memories from the day. It was like a dream. As in any event, there were things that didn't go as planned, but we didn't notice because Carolina sorted it out for us and made sure everything got back on track. Our guests shared the most glowing reviews, and we couldn't be happier. Not only is she an absolute superstar. She also knows the best in the business and only works with other super stars. From florals to celebrant, DJ to make up artist, musicians to catering, photographers, and videographers, we got the best people for our event booked. Not to mention her fabulous personality. We now consider Carolina a dear friend and follow her continued successes virtually. When we visit Portugal, we would love to meet her for a coffee just to catch up, if she's free. In short- Carolina is amazing. We absolutely love her, and we are so, so happy with everything she did for us. Carolina and her team at Sublime Luxury Weddings did an incredible job planning our wedding! We initially had trouble getting a contract from our venue but Carolina continually followed up with them to get us the venue we wanted. She also recommended many vendors that did a phenomenal job on the day. For example, it rained on our wedding day and we were planning on having our ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors. Carolina and her recommended florist reworked all the flowers to make sure they could easily be set up indoors and the end result was stunning! The lighting and sound company she recommended did an amazing job setting the mood and keeping the party going -- our DJ had our guests on the dance floor till 3am! Even after the wedding, Carolina has stayed in touch with us to help us tie up lose ends and make sure we get all our deposits back. Overall, Carolina and her team worked incredibly hard to make our wedding weekend the best weekend of our lives and we're so thankful for all that they did for us!

We hired her to help us plan our wedding in Porto, Portugal (we are currently living in the U.S.). Carolina pulled off an impossible feat and organised our Lisbon wedding in less than 8 weeks: it was by far the most special day of our lives. From start to finish, Carolina was a calming presence and a dedicated visionary working to make everything happen remotely. We got engaged during the pandemic and obviously had to wait to have our wedding. When it finally came time to plan, we were on an expedited timeline (6 months). We reached out to several planners in Portugal and without a doubt, Carolina was the most responsive and professional. Even before we agreed to hire her, she went above and beyond in helping us find a venue. Having never been to Portugal, I definitely had anxiety about planning our wedding there, but Carolina make the entire process seamless. In addition, all of the vendors that she suggested were just as professional and fantastic as she was. When the big day finally came, it was perfect! Several of our guests told us that it was the best wedding they had ever attended, and even my husband lamented its ending. After our wedding, Carolina continued to work with us to ensure that we received our refunds. If you’re considering having a wedding in Portugal, we’d highly recommend working with Carolina. We had hired Carolina for our wedding in April 2022. We had 3 days of events with multiple events on 2 of the 3 days. We were very pleased and happy with her professionalism, kindness and attention to detail. She handled everything for me prior to the week of the wedding incluyding liaising with the seamstress for last minute alterations and a nail emergency! Our wedding was beyond our expectations. The vendors used were wonderful and we tweaked things as we went along. In fact Carolina was open to using vendors that she had not previously dealt with at our request. When she was unavailable for personal reasons, she communicated to us and she also acted as a translator at the very last minute for us during our civil ceremony. Not being in Portugal during my planning phase , Carolina made things simple and easy and my husband and I truly enjoyed every minute of our exwedding thanks to Carolina. Many of our guests that interacted with her commented on her professionalism and attention to detail ensuring that guests were well looked after always. Carolina went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our wedding in Portugal flawless and magical. We had to reschedule because of COVID restrictions in 2020. We only hired her for day of coordination but she insisted on coordinating the rebooking of all of our vendors for us for our new 2021 date at no additional cost. The months leading up to the wedding were so stressful with Portugal’s ever changing COVID rules so we had weekly check in meetings so she could update me on the situation in portugal and coordinate potential back up plans. My videographer could not enter portugal at the last minute and she found me a replacement videographer immediately. She held my hand during the most stressful time in my life and I can confidently say the wedding would not have happened without her assistance and kindness. She genuinely cares about her clients, she is a logistical magician and is incredibly competent. I am a very particular person and she exceeded all my wild expectations.
