They did a wonderful job. They were very nice people. Even though she was healing from her own injury, Sarah gave 110% and got our huge stump and hole to be seed ready. Her and her team were respectful, polite & courteous. We recommend them 100%!

This is a woman-owned business run by someone I respect and admire not just for the work she does, but for how she does it. Smart, professional, and tough as hell. Watching her work was a total boss moment (yes, I have the photos and video to prove it). Support the ones who show up and go all in. She’s the real deal.

Called to have a few stumps removed. Was given a reasonable quote and was done the next day! Friendly and done quick. Highly recommend this company to remove your stumps.

I can't say enough good things about Sarah, owner of Stumps R Us, out of Battle Creek. A few weeks after Kalamazoo's mega storm in May, I was quoted $2500 and $2400 from two companies to remove two giant stumps. Both of those quotes were from well-known & highly recommended companies in Kzoo. One of my stumps was right next to my deck, and since the rootball was now vertical, it had popped the corner of deck up about 12 inches higher. The $2400 guy said he couldn't guarantee he could get the whole stump due to the deck. So I'd be paying him full price to maybe remove half a stump, and I'd still have a messed-up deck?? Um, nope. I sat on the project for a while, then saw the ad for Stumps R Us. Sarah came out the day after I contacted her and quoted me $1800, a full $600 less than my other "low" quote! We discussed the deck vs. stump issue and I told her that another guy had said he couldn't guarantee he could get the whole thing. The look on her face when I said that was pretty funny, and I knew my deck would be in good hands. She completed the job today, for $1800, NOT $2400, my deck is intact and back on the ground! They put all sorts of padding over my windows and siding that were going to be in the line of fire, noting the rocks visible in the rootball. My other stump was surrounded by a huge garden. I had moved all the plants out of the way in preparation for this job except two hostas, one of which was just huge and too heavy to move, and the other I hadn't gotten to in time. I had figured that even if her equipment ran over them and squashed them, the roots would survive and they would come up next year. She called her guy over to come dig the smaller one up and move it for me! The giant one that was too heavy to move, she protected with the shield of her grinder thing while she was working!! ❤️❤️ I had told her not to worry about the clean-up because I wanted to keep the costs down as much as possible, and only pay for the stuff that I truly couldn't do, so I can't speak to the clean-up part. But the price was right!! She said both today and the day I met her that she knows that this is never a planned or fun expense and she tries to be mindful of that, and she wouldn't price-gouge someone just because she could. I definitely feel that the other two quotes were price-gouging due to the severity of the storm. Highly recommend this honest, fair, woman-owned business!!
