Strauss Skates and Bicycles

I needed a recumbent e-trike for exercise and running errands that would work well with my knee arthritis and balance issues. We saw that Strauss just started carrying the Addmotor recumbent e-trikes, so we went over to Strauss to check them out. Ty S. had already assembled the standard size e-trike, and he spent quite a bit of time with us reviewing the instructions and letting me take it for a test ride. It was a GREAT bike, but I also wanted to try the slightly smaller mini sized recumbent. Ty said Strauss had one of the minis in stock but it would need to be assembled before I could test drive it. He assembled the bike for us, and I took it for a test ride today. Long story short, it was PERFECT, and I bought it! Ty is great at customer service and bike assembly! I highly recommend Strauss (and Ty)!

I stopped there as I had an emergency tire issue on a long bike ride. They were so nice and accommodating even though I had no money on me to pay them. I certainly will not hesitate to bring my bike there in the future, if I am in need of repairs. Ty was the fellow who helped me. He was very helpful and low-key.

Excellent bike shop with none of the attitude you get at some places. They helped me out when a mechanical issue interrupted a bike ride with my son and we needed a part on the fly. Great service, fast repair and well-stocked bike store. Strongly recommend.

Here I called, brought my bike in same day, got my bike derailer issue fixed in 10 minutes and for a super reasonable price. The previous bike shop estimated $150 for the fixed needed, and we're out 3 - 4 weeks. I was so disheartened! Then called these guys, and I'm set. These were the angels I needed.

We had Bill assist us for figure skate fitting. He was very kind and patient - amazing shop weather you’re getting hockey gear, skates sharpened, roller blades, or figures. 10/10 would go back! 😁

Great experience both times I've been there. Very friendly and helpful! It feels very comfortable and they make you feel at home. Has a nice family vibe going on. They have a friendly dog that's always there. I just returned skates that my daughter will never wear, and I bought months ago, as an impulse buy, but regretted immediately afterwards, but never got around to returning. I didn't even have the receipt anymore, and they still let me return them! No problem. Even gave me cash. I expected maybe in-store credit or that I would have to have the receipt. Pleasantly surprised. Much appreciated!!

Skating or cycling, they are the best! If you need to get fitted for skates, they are experts. Then getting skates sharpened or a bike tuned up, they can get you confidently back in action. No wonder they’ve been around forever. Check it out for yourself .

All around great experience! I made contact on a Thursday and worked with Jenelle. My ask was an apparel order for the following Friday. Jenelle found a great variety of product in stock. I placed our team order on Monday (hoodies, printed with logo and numbers) and it was ready to be picked up on Thursday- with no errors! I am so impressed with the efficiency and ease of communication with Jenelle. I was fully prepared for delays (having experienced A LOT of that with other vendors)... when our order was ready a day early?! The staff in the shop was friendly, helpful and quick when I picked up the order. Props! Kudos! 10 out of 10 would recommend! Thank you!
