Strauss Skates and Bicycles is a 5th generation family owned business located in Maplewood, MN. Strauss began in 1887 as a bicycle and skate blade manufacturer and soon became some of the finest blades in the world.. Customers ranged from Olympic Gold Medalists to The Chicago Blackhawks to local St. Paul residents simply wanting to enjoy our beautiful winters. Over the years, Strauss expanded to retail sales of speed skating, hockey, and figure skating equipment. Today, Strauss is a full service retailer of hockey and figure equipment, cycling, as well as team apparel with custom embroidery, sublimation, and screen printing services. Strauss maintains a factory authorized skate and bicycle repair shop as well as expert skate sharpening.

We have one happy 8 year old boy, special thanks to Juaquin for helping us find the perfect new hockey skates for our son. He listened to all of his questions and concerns about how the skates were fitting. Very knowledgeable and polite.

I needed a recumbent e-trike for exercise and running errands that would work well with my knee arthritis and balance issues. We saw that Strauss just started carrying the Addmotor recumbent e-trikes, so we went over to Strauss to check them out. Ty S. had already assembled the standard size e-trike, and he spent quite a bit of time with us reviewing the instructions and letting me take it for a test ride. It was a GREAT bike, but I also wanted to try the slightly smaller mini sized recumbent. Ty said Strauss had one of the minis in stock but it would need to be assembled before I could test drive it. He assembled the bike for us, and I took it for a test ride today. Long story short, it was PERFECT, and I bought it! Ty is great at customer service and bike assembly! I highly recommend Strauss (and Ty)!
