We recently had a plumbing work where we went with Straight Flush based on the hourly rate and materials that may cost. Upon finishing the job, we received an invoice and had a bill shock! First, the amount hours were incorrect, and got it resolved but still to the exact as the plumber waited outside in our driveway for a while (note, it eventually came to GPS positioning and discarded our view). Next, the materials used were a big list which got me suspicious. Upon reporting including the items of doubt (after physically inspecting ourselves), the items were checked, and acknowledged it was incorrect (not a small error! or combined cost!). We had to exchange several comms to deal with it before finalising the correct invoice. Almost 50% down from the originally invoiced! No apologies whatsoever from Straight Flush particularly considering the stress & extra hours we put in to manage as a customer (not our fault). It was a bitter experience. I'm unsure how Straight Flush is monitoring transactions and addressing the issue either lies company-wide, or, just a few staff doing dodgy stuff.
