June is offering Pilates classes in Straffan Community Hall on Wednesdays. I have been attending these for about a year now and absolutely love her class. June is very professional and also very friendly, making everyone feel welcomed and relaxed to do as they can. She focuses on the group's needs, movement ability, and offers alternative movements to fit our needs for each exercise. She gives us the option to do the full movement or a modified version and demonstrates each version. We are the "chatty group" and our interactions and laughter make the class fun and something to look forward to each week. I am 75 and the class has helped me to tone a bit, remain flexible, work on balance, and is improving age related aches and pains. Having a Physiotherapist leading the class was the reason I joined. If you are looking for a floor Pilates, I can highly recommend her classes.
