I came to Sterling PT for a running injury (posterior tibial tendinopathy) and had a great experience. From the first visit, Dr. Torey really took the time to listen to my running background and what I wanted to get back to. I did the 10‑visit package and loved how structured everything was. The first half focused on getting me out of pain and rebuilding strength, and the second half shifted toward performance and cleaning up my running form. After each visit, I would get videos of the exercises we did and an updated HEP. Dr. Torey is incredibly knowledgeable and played a huge role in getting me back on track.

If you are looking for a PT group that will have you back at your best, look to Sterling Sports. I cannot say enough about their quality of care, attention and knowledge guiding athletes and others alike. They have guided my son through his ACL recovery from months 3-10, and the transformation has been incredible. Sterling Sports works as a team and you won’t find a more dedicated group. If you love what you do and want to get back at it, I highly recommend Julie, Torey and the whole Sterling Sports group.

I was referred to Sterling Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy by a trainer of mine and it was a fantastic experience. I struggle with hip tightness for 4 months before I began PT and thought there was little to no solution. After working with Torey for a single month the results and progress made was outstanding. Having the opportunity to understand exactly what was going on with hips and having a detailed home program to continue that progress when I am out of the office was huge for me. I highly recommend Sterling to anyone dealing with nagging pains or injuries

I found my way to Sterling and Torey through Google after I had pulled my hamstring 2 months before a marathon which I had been training for months. It was too late to defer and I was certain the race was in jeopardy. I called their number and immediately Torey explained their process, which is different than many PT locations. Instead of working with an intern or hourly employee with little experience most of the session, their philosophy is for you to work one on one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, which in hindsight, was a blessing. Additionally, they have specialized equipment (dry needling and shockwave) that Torey had to use several times over the course of about 4 weeks to get my hamstring "loose" enough (my words, not his) so that I could work on strengthening the muscle and then get back to running. Torey even prescribed a run/walk progression so that I could quickly build back my stamina and get at least one long run in before my race. I'll add that he did this after my last paid appointment via text and checked in several times after workouts and even before and after my race! I'm happy to say that I was able to finish my first marathon Sunday without any issues other than standard post-race aches and pains. I would highly recommend Torey and the whole team at Sterling for any physical therapy related rehab—especially for sports related injuries.

I’ve been working with Torey for the past few months, and I’m so grateful to have found him! Over the years, I’ve seen more physical therapists than I can count. While some have helped, I’ve made the greatest progress with Torey. As an avid runner who has dealt with years of injuries and multiple surgeries—including hip labrum repair and meniscus surgeries in both knees—I had almost given up hope. Torey has gotten me back to running and, most importantly, out of pain. He is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and committed to finding the root cause of issues rather than just treating the symptoms. His holistic, problem-solving approach has made all the difference. I can’t thank him enough for everything he has done for me!

I first met Dr. Torey and his staff at the Suwanee Half Marathon earlier this year (2025). That was my first half, and although I am an avid runner, the race proved far more challenging than expected despite all the training I had done. The first half went great, but quickly went south as significant soreness and some pain settled in. I finished, and all in all my time was decent, but I pretty much hobble-walked across the line. Dr. Torey and company were setup at the race and I started talking with them about the race. Based on that introduction, I ended up following up for an initial visit. We talked about the challenges with the race in detail, and did a gait analysis (Wow was that revealing) and put in place a PT plan to address the issues. I can't stress this enough, each any every session was a full hour with Dr. Torey, every time, and the communication as needed between sessions was exceptional. The results? I set a PR on almost every course I normally run, matched my all-time 5K PR, finally got a podium in Trail Race and set a 10K PR. My gait is substantially better, my cadence increased and my ground contact time decreased among other improvements. If that's not a successful outcome, I am not sure what is ;). I'm onboard for next year's Suwanee half and looking forward to see how that goes!

I came in a few weeks ago with consistent pain in my knee from walking to even sitting down and sleeping. Although I’m not all the way done with my treatment and recovery yet, Dr. Torey has been amazing to work with and I am now pain free in all my everyday activities. I still have another month or so until I’ll be back to sports and running/jumping, but without Dr. Torey, I’d definitely not be where I’m at right now in such a short time.

After suffering from years of running injuries and numerous stints in PT, I came to Sterling to find the answers behind my injuries and Torey has done that. His thorough review of my history/concerns and the development of therapy, exercises and changes to my running mechanics have made a tremendous difference. My runs are pain free with a freedom of movement that I have never experienced. I cannot say enough about the caring and expertise that Torey has brought to me. Everything at Sterling is top notch from the facility, scheduling, and billing - I would highly recommend it to anyone.

My experience at Sterling has been great! Everyone has been so kind and supportive! Dr. Torey Paige has been so awesome and the care that he has provided has been top notch! I came to Sterling dealing with a lot of nagging injuries that I was just taping up and dealing with as best as I could. After a few sessions I was able to get through my days with no tape. Torey has not only helped me with the physical aspects of injury but also the mental aspects on keeping a positive mindset and to keep moving forward. I look forward to my visits here. I highly recommend Sterling!
